"George came out and talked to me about what was wrong about the gutters I had up and showed me what to look for in bad gutters. He was great on showing what was wrong and what needed fixed. His crew came out and took down my old gutters and replaced them with new ones. They were also had the best rice to do gutters and gutter guards. Very happy with them and the work they did."

Small jobs welcome

"Mr. Simpson replied to my query swiftly and showed up to do the work promptly and cheerfully. On a bleak sleeting day, he cleaned out our clogged gutters and then suggested and installed a better gutter guard. We will call upon him in the future for other jobs."

"Our new gutters look sharp and we no longer have overflow issues. We had them installed last fall and have had zero problems since. The price was extremely fair. The crew was very careful about our landscape at the time. Don't hesitate to call Udo to get your old gutters replaced!"

"The team from The Brothers that just do Gutters was really top notch! We were having issues with gutters overflowing during heavy rain and their sales person Adam was really fair to point out where we needed our system fixed and where we could wait a little longer. We went with the 6 inch seamless gutters to help handle the higher water volume on the longest stretch of our roof. It's not that usual pushy sales pitch that I hate! They were very accommodating to work with us on our needs and we will definitely use them again when we install gutter guards in the summer!"

"TomKat came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. The owner, Tom, was very personable and reliable. He helped with the insurance claim filing and processing, and with his knowledge, approval of my claim was a breeze and the crew and supplies were ready and available the following week to start working on the entire roof and siding replacement. Tom came every day to ensure the job was being done perfectly and updated me of the progress and timeline. Service was outstanding, and I was very pleased with the work that was done on my roof, gutters and sidings of both the house and garage. TomKat is highly recommended and I would definitely refer the company to my friends and colleagues. Thanks to TomKat, my house looks neat and new."

Gutter Repair and Replacement questions, answered by experts

Leaks, corrosion, sagging sections, and loose fasteners are common problems that need fixing.

Yes, professionals can repair or replace sections with seamless copper for better durability.

Yes, gutter repair is almost always worth the investment. Some homeowners believe that gutter repairs are only to improve the home’s curb appeal, but gutters play a pivotal role in protecting your foundation from damage and structural instability, and they also prevent water damage to your soffits, fascia, roof, and exterior walls. You will pay an average of around $400 to have your gutters professionally repaired, but it’s worth it even for the peace of mind of knowing that one of your largest investments is adequately protected from the elements.

The best way to seal gutters is with a combination of waterproof roofing cement and silicone gutter sealant. This powerful duo works to prevent water from escaping through holes and cracks while allowing for breathability. While you can use polyurethane sealants, silicone sealants tend to be more flexible when it comes to climate. Silicone is UV-resistant and bonds well to many surfaces. However, polyurethane sealant bonds better with wood.

When it comes to which gutter material is better, the choice really boils down to what you're looking for in a gutter system. If saving money is the most important factor, then your best option is to go for aluminum gutters. If longevity and durability are more important to you, then copper gutters could be the best fit. If you want to customize the color of your gutters, aluminum takes the cake, but if you're looking for a more natural appearance, copper might be a better choice.
