"I discovered petpee.com when I was searching online for ways to remove the urine odor from our 10’ x 14’ Karastan wool oriental rug. I had planned to clean the rug myself, but I was intrigued by the videos I saw on YouTube of petpee.com’s owner, Meir Martin, demonstrating how he cleans rugs like mine. I searched for petpee.com reviews and was blown away by the number of glowing reviews that had been written by satisfied customers. I knew then and there that I wanted to turn my rug over rug to Mr. Martin to finally get rid of the urine odor that had been building up for over 10 years. I called him and got a quote of $1079, which included shipping both ways, cleaning the rug, and a guarantee that I would not be able to detect any urine odor when my rug was returned to me. After getting over the sticker shock, my husband gave me the green light to send the rug to petpeepee.com. I think he was more interested in getting rid of my constant complaints about the urine odor than the actual odor itself! Mr. Martin walked us through how to pack up our rug for shipping via UPS, having us send him pictures to make sure we had prepared it properly. Even though we followed his instructions, I received an email from UPS 5 days later that my rug had been lost. I was regretting my decision to send my rug off for cleaning, UNTIL Mr. Martin worked his magic! I’m only the second customer in all the years petpeepee.com has been in business to have her oriental rug go missing, but that was to my benefit, because Mr. Meir knew exactly who to call (in Utah, of all places!) to track down my rug. Mr. Martin called his contact at UPS every day to check on whether my rug had been found and kept me posted each day for a week. On the seventh day after UPS reported my rug had been lost, Mr. Martin called me with the happy news that my rug had been found!!! Apparently some of the tape I had used to secure the label to the package was not completely flat and caused the label and bag to tear. Mr. Martin received my rug via Next Day Air from UPS on August 23 and began the cleaning process the next day. I loved receiving videos and pictures of the rug being cleaned and getting updates from Mr. Martin throughout the process. We received the rug back on September 2, and it smelled as fresh as it did the day we bought it! It looked so clean and new – worth every penny we paid to have petpeepee.com clean it. I really need more than five stars for my recommendation of petpeepee.com and Meir Martin. He is a true professional and the best communicator of any service provider I’ve ever encountered. I will be sending him more rugs soon! When I do, I will be VERY careful about packaging them, including using a HEAVY DUTY bag and taping multiple labels on the inside and outside of the package and making sure EVERYTHING on the outside is smooth and flat. "Our experience with The Carpet Guys was less than impressive. I would not recommend their service. I informed the sub-contractors prior to the start of the job that we just had our hardwood floors refinished a week prior and asked that they cover the floors in the area they were working to protect the floors. They covered some areas, failed to cover the area in front of the staircase and there were several deep scratches because of their careless workmanship. Paint was chipped off the walls on the staircase and there were areas where the seams were visible. There were also a few areas where the carpet was not cut and glued properly. One of the workers was on his cell phone during most of the time he worked, at some point a 2nd crew of workers came and the 1st crew left without notifying us that they were swapping out crews. Lastly, we advised the work crew that they had full access to the use the bathroom on the first floor; one of the worker's used my master bathroom and deposited the used toilet tissue on the floor instead of flushing the tissue. An Install Manager came out and attempted to correct the areas of concern, he did an acceptable job. However, we refused to allow them to repair the hardwood floors, as it would void our warranty with the company. I elevated my concerns to another level of management explaining why I did not want The Carpet Guys to repair the hardwood floors and the cost to repair would be a minimum of $450 per hardwood flooring company and his response was, "how do I know my guys damaged your hardwood floors". After I became verbally upset over his insinuation that I was lying he stated he wasn't trying to argue just send him a paid bill. After spending over $8,000 cash for the carpet install, and I told them the hardwood floors were finished a week prior to their job, which we paid almost $7,000 cash for, why would I haggle over less than $500. Never ever would I recommend anyone use this company, save yourself the headache and go with someone else."

Spent over $11,000 in 2020 to have interior drain tile and a landing drain connected to a new sump pump Had water enter through the doorway by the drain 3 times since 2020, with the most water coming inside September of 2022 Called Safeguard in September 2022. Safeguard refused to even check the system, sent us a quote for $1,800 more work to “fix us up” without even checking anything on our property Had a 3rd party company out to inspect the drain that Safeguard refused to check. Discovered they breached our contract and connected the drain to village stormwater tiling without our consent or the consent of the village. Have never received as much as an apology. Instead, Safeguard blamed us saying the drain was clogged with leaves, and that is why we flooded. This was disproved by Roto-Rooter. Update as of 3/3/2023 AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! They claim they did not connect the drain incorrectly, and they are doing this fix to appease us (even though I have my contact that clearly states what was to be done, and a signed letter from the president stating that they did in fact do something else). As a result, we asked for a simple 1 year work and materials warranty just to ease our fears about something breaking in the future. Their response- WE WILL NOT ALTER THIS CONTRACT. Bob, John and Karen have been nothing but awful to work with. They are argumentative at best. The amount of times sarcasm and ALL CAPS have been used in emails by Karen, as well as the amount of times my husband has been screamed at over the phone or in person by Bob and John are immeasurable. As soon as you write them a check and they finish the work, they’re done. Even if they blatantly breach your contract (like with us), or the work is faulty, I believe they will not fix or stand by anything. They claim they have one of the strongest warranties in the business- I assure you this is a lie. If they do work and it never breaks, consider yourself lucky, because if something goes wrong they will not help you in any way shape or form to solve the problem, in my opinion. Instead, they will blame you as the customer and ignore you until you become too loud to ignore. "The one star is for my designer who was great - everything else after that initial meeting has been a disaster. I ordered my drapes from Smith and Noble which has now been taken over by 3 day blinds. You cannot currently book installations. You have to give the scheduler a few options that work for you, and then wait for the install department to confirm your choice. I have been waiting for 10 days for someone to confirm my appointment and despite numerous follow up calls, I have not made any progress. I was told during one of these calls that There are currently no installers that work the area to hang the blinds up. No-one is able to help, and management don't return calls."

"Rob followed up after a day or 2 to see what I thought. Based on Platinum’s customer service, I chose them to clean several rooms, upholstered furniture and large basement of my home. Henry was the tech on site and kept me informed as each room was started and completed. He also conferred with me to see if I was satisfied with an area before moving on to the next. My carpets turned out fabulous and after several weeks, not one of the original stains has resurfaced."
