"I'm the President of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Auxiliary 2239. I hired The Girl Dusters to clean the kitchen including our commercial oven and stove. They also cleaned the cocktail lounge. There were two young ladies and the did a phemenal job! They cleaned the restrooms and hallway as well. The Auxiliary was absolutely impressed and hired them back again! Awesome service and even better customer service!"

Whatever you need from a house cleaning oerspectivee. They are the best Valdosta Victoria and her husband are delightful. On a scale of 0 to 10 they are off the scale They did such a great job I paid them more ten what they quoted and gave them a cash gratuity based on the job they did."

"Krispy Clean did a wonderful job cleaning my carpets and in a very timely manner. The staff was friendly and responsive. My only warning would be: When they give you a quote on the phone it may not be the same as when they arrive and measure. I have wool carpet and there was a significant difference in pricing, almost double. I had taken the day off to accommodate the carpet cleaning so I did proceed. The carpets look great, but I think I paid too much."

Carpet Cleaning questions, answered by experts

The time it takes for a carpet to dry after cleaning depends on the method used, but it typically ranges from 6 to 12 hours. Several factors influence drying time, including the amount of water used, the carpet's thickness and material, and the home's temperature and humidity. For instance, wool carpets dry slower than synthetic materials like nylon or polyester. While a standard shampooing may take 6 to 12 hours, methods like steam cleaning or high humidity can extend the drying period up to a full 24 hours.

The cost for professional carpet cleaning is $180 for the average homeowner. However, you could end up paying as low as $80 or as high as $375 or more, depending on how much carpeting you have in your home and the type of cleaning you’ll have done, plus any add-ons like furniture and upholstery cleaning. For example, bonnet carpet cleaning averages around $150 since it’s more surface-level. However, due to its complexity, hot water extraction cleaning averages closer to $400.

To effectively clean fine dust after construction, start by dusting high surfaces like ceiling fans, walls, and window sills, allowing the dust to settle. Then, use a vacuum with a HEPA filter on all surfaces, including furniture, carpets, and floors, making a second pass for thoroughness. Follow up by mopping hard surfaces with a damp mop to capture any lingering particles. It's also important to clean appliances, vacuum HVAC returns and supply vents, and replace the air filters. Properly ventilate the home to help clear out remaining dust, and avoid sweeping, which can spread the dust around.

Depending on your type of carpet, a wet/dry vacuum is a great final step to removing blood stains, but it will only help after you’ve used another method to pull out the bulk of the stain. A good option is to use a wet cleaning method, then apply baking soda to the stain, and then follow that by vacuuming thoroughly. Remember that this vacuum type does not work on all carpet types. Wool can shrink with this method, so always check the cleaning instructions from your carpet’s manufacturer.

The best tools and solutions for getting stains out of a carpet depend on the type of carpet. Heavier and more durable materials like wool can withstand steam cleaning, while more delicate materials like jute may get damaged. In those cases, it’s best to immediately address the stain using a mixture of water, vinegar, and baking soda or use a commercial stain remover that’s safe for your carpet. In many cases, the best way to remove a stubborn stain and avoid damage in the process is to call in a professional floor cleaner for assistance.
