I found Nick's Home Remodeling on a recommendation from another Angie's List builder who had just retired.  He suggested I contact Nick who was his former assistant and gave me his phone number.  Nick called me back within 24 hours. 

I called Nick and two other highly recommended Angie's List vendors for quotes.  All three came out in a timely fashion and I received a quote from each one.  Nick's quote was in the middle of the three and I went with him because his estimate was the most detailed complete with a range of pricing on materials and supplies I would have to provide for the job.

Before Nick began he provided me a list of supplies I needed to buy and suggestions on where to make the purchases.  I received a builders discount from the vendors he suggested and I selected.  I cross checked the pricing via the internet to ensure I was paying fair value (I was).  With Nick's discount I was paying below most advertised prices I found either online or at competitor stores.

Nick also directed me to a custom cabinet builder to build the vanity and I'm very happy for that recommendation as we're extremely pleased with our custom built vanity.

Nick made suggestions throughout the buying process and helped us avoid so potentially poor style and color mistakes.  We ended up following Nick's recommendations regarding tile size, color, and texture and we're thrilled with the outcome.

Nick and his team showed up on time and the first thing they did was put down plastic and tarps to protect my carpet and floors. They worked efficiently and cleaned up at the end of each day.   

The tear out was one day and the repairs to the shower walls and floor began on day two.  By day three they were working on the electrical and plumbing and by day four they had the tub and shower tile installed.  On Friday they began work on the floor as well as grouting the shower and installing shower fixtures. 

All along the way Nick would explain at the end of the work day what was accomplished and what was on tap for the next day.  I was completely up-to-date throughout the entire process and Nick was always ready to respond to any questions either my wife or I had.

Nick does GREAT work and he's completely transparent with his pricing.  There were no hidden costs during the project and we came in $500 dollars over the original estimate because we upgraded some of the supplies. 

We are thrilled with the results and our kids love their new bathroom (so do we)!!

I strongly recommend Nick for any building project you may have.  We're already scoping out the next project which will be a rehab of our half bath off our kitchen and Nick will do this work.
