"I received multiple bids for my home repair project and decided to go with Lookswell based on their professionalism, responsiveness, and the reviews I saw here on Angie's List. They did not disappoint. Fernando was very thorough and professional for the estimate, and he explained the work they'd do clearly and concisely. The job took two days. Luis arrived promptly each day to do the work. He installed a long piece of drywall in a closet of my house that was recently gutted to make way for air conditioning ducts, and he patched a plaster hole in the same closet. He was careful to avoid the air conditioning lines running down the length of the house from the attic, which was critical. Luis also patched and sanded a plaster ceiling that was ravaged by hairline cracks after vents were installed. Both areas were painted white. When I noticed there were two unsightly gaps in the closet caused by the prior removal of baseboard, Luis quickly cut some of my old baseboard, installed it and painted it in under an hour. Fernando stopped by to inspect the job site on the second day to ensure I was satisfied, which I always appreciate. Pricing was fair, not too much, not too little. Excellent work, great customer service."

"Sunpainting did a very good job. Paul showed up for the estimate and explained everything that was going to be done. They repaired the cracks in the plaster walls and took care of the peeling paint in the bathroom and hallway closet. They did 3 coats of paint in the living room to ensure a good job at no extra cost even though he said it would only need 2 coats. They did 4 rooms and a hallway in two days. I was very pleased with the final product. The pricing was very reasonable and fair. I will definately hire Paul for future projects."

"Absolutely amazing, I don't even know where to start. I am doing a full renovation on a condo in Chicago and first met Val and Flo for an estimate on getting the kitchen framed. Val is extremely responsive and scheduling was easy. There are absolutely no games and their prices, in my opinion, are low for the quality of service they provide. Flo is the kind of person who takes extreme pride in his work and it shows. He pointed out issues that I was not aware of that also needed to be fixed and took care of them with no problems. I have used them to do the framing in my kitchen, install my cabinets, and install my new base trim/shoe base.
