The Ground Up Inc

I was referred to Kurt Landis from The Ground Up, Inc, by a neighbor. Kurt is phenomenal and both he and his wife Michelle are a joy to work with. Kurt installed an absolutely beautiful epoxy floor in my garage and was friendly, professional, and thorough. I’ve been showing my new garage floor off to friends and several people have commented on what a wonderful job Kurt did. I am exceptionally pleased with the results and will recommend The Ground Up, Inc to other neighbors and friends.

The initial work went well. The work was completed in Aug 2017. By spring of ‘18, it was bubbling in a couple spots. Kurt came and repaired it. In Oct 2018, more bubbles and a couple spots where the coating delaminated/ cracked. Called and asked him to come out and take a look. They called back once and said it’s not there problem. “It must be the concrete.” Dismissed the problem without even looking at it. Tried to call back again, left message. No return call. So much for a guarantee.

Kurt and Michelle were very pleasant. Kurt completed the job in a timely manner and was even flexible with our schedule when we needed more time.

They did a fantastic job, thorough and great, he is not a problem. I would recommend him to any body, he is clean and on time. His wife is very nice to she is the one that answers the phone. I have had problems with people, I tell them where i am at, what I need and they do not call, they do not bather to email I am an hour and a half away from my property that I needs the most help with so I say to them if you can not make it let me know because I have many properties and I take care of my mum full time plus I have four kids so I do not need to take extra trips to people that could not even be bothered to call me and I had that happen four weeks ago I lined up four guys and non of them showed up, not one of them called. Some of the staff I have got from Angie's list have been fantastic.

My experience with Kurt Landis was very good. Kurt is very professional. He came out and gave me an estimate. He explained in detailed every step that would be done to epoxy the garage floor. He had many color samples to choose from. Kurt came back the next week to apply the epoxy. He first ground the top layer of the garage floor so the cement was white. He then applied the epoxy and decorative color flakes. He let that sit overnight and came back the next day to apply the finishing coat. My garage floor was very discolored and had a bad smell to it before Kurt put the epoxy on. The garage now smells fresh and the floor looks very nice. After talking to a neighbor who had his garage floor done by a different company I found that he paid almost double what I paid. So I am extremely happy that I now have a great looking garage at a great price. I would definitely recommend Kurt to anyone.
