"I am very please with the work by Integrity Heating and Cooling. They really have the interest of their members at heart and are willing to go that extra mile. The tech came out and did the cleaning on our furnace with no issue; he was courteous, respectful and knowledgeable. The tech happened to have the owner on the phone, and the owner took the time to thoroughly educate me on the importance of a whole house humidifier, which was installed same day and at an amazing price through their membership. I feel safe putting the heating and cooling needs of my family in their hands. They really do have Integrity. 10 /10 will be using them for years to come."

"Greg, the owner, came out on two occasions to discuss the crawl space and drain tile. He is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in the crawl space industry. We had a few options and he told me about the new spray product he was using. It is this unique seamless liner that is sprayed on after preparing and insulating the area.
His crew was very professional and easy to talk to. We had some scheduling conflicts that were easy to work around and get the job done when we needed it to be finished.
The difference we noticed in the smell in our basement, the effect the insulation and seamless lining had on the air conditioning in our family room (which is above the crawl space) was immediate. We feel cooler air coming through the duct work since it isn't losing energy traveling through a non insulated space anymore and they basement smells and feels normal since the dirt and concrete is now completely covered by the new liner.
That new product is great.
Greg's company also did drain tile work in our basement. It was a different crew than the group who did the crawl space, but they were equally as professional and easy to work with. Rather than break up the job into 3-4 days they stayed late the first day to get everything ready and prepared so they could complete the job quicker. The job was done the next day. The price was very fair and the crew was extremely clean throughout thew whole process.
We now have a water tight, well insulated basement and we couldn't be happier with the results.
I have told several friends about the experience and would recommend them anytime. From Greg down to each of his crew members they really know how to do a good job and work with the customer."

"An energy audit revealed terrible problems with our home's insulation, and we decided to start with these issues before moving on to other, smaller, projects related to energy conservation.
USA Insulation insisted that we would see a change in our home the very day they put in insulation, and I will have to agree that we did see improvements.
I returned home to find 2" diameter plugged holes in the siding every 16 or so inches in 2 rows, one on each floor. We let the insulation cure/dry for a day or two before we painted the caps to match the siding color. In the end, we decided to repaint the whole house but only the main color, not the trim. I would suggest anyone with wood siding that has this type of insulation installed, consider the cost and time to paint the house because repainting just those plugs could be noticable if the house color has faded over the years. It is a very small price to pay (money and time) for the benefits we will see.
There is a slight odor as the foam cured, but it was not toxic and not displeasant. It lasted about 48 hours before we could no longer notice the smell at all, but majority of the smell vanished in less than 24 hours.
While it is too soon to discuss how well this work is saving us money, we did see 2 immediate changes:
1) It is much quieter inside the house now.
2) The upstairs is no longer a heat trap with unbearable heat in each bedroom (home has no central heating or air conditioning).
Let me add a 3rd change now that we have experienced a few cold evenings:
3) The house is indeed warmer and retains so much heat when the radiators go on. The radiators did not have to stay on long before the house maintained a good temperature.
USA Insulatoin, as part of their energy audit, left us with several suggestions of "do-it-yourself" projects that can provide additional energy savings in addition the major savings we will see from this insulation work.

To determine the right size generator for your house, you should calculate the total wattage of the appliances and devices you want to power during an outage. List all essential items, note their start-up wattages, and add them together.

Here are some typical wattage requirements for common appliances:

  • Refrigerator: 600 watts

  • Large dehumidifier: 700 watts

  • Large window air conditioner: 1,400 watts

  • Water heater: 3,000 to 4,500 watts

  • Electric furnace: 5,000 to 25,000 watts

A 7,500-watt generator might be sufficient for essentials like a refrigerator, freezer, well pump, and lighting circuits. However, for high-demand items like a water heater or furnace, a whole-home generator is a better choice. A portable generator may be enough if you only need to power a few critical items.

While home square footage can offer a rough estimate, it is not always a reliable indicator. For reference, here are some typical generator sizes based on square footage:

  • 1,000 sq ft: 6–9 kW

  • 1,500 sq ft: 7–10 kW

  • 2,000 sq ft: 10–14 kW

  • 2,500 sq ft: 12–16 kW

  • 3,000 sq ft: 16–20 kW+

For the most accurate sizing, consult a professional who can calculate your home's peak and average power consumption and recommend the optimal generator.

Services by electricians can quickly get expensive, but there are a few ways you can save money in the process:

  • Bundle multiple jobs done at the same time to save on trip fees or flat fees for individual projects.

  • Get at least three quotes for service to find the best deal.

  • Buy fixtures, switches, outlets, and other materials beforehand to avoid product markup.

  • If you feel comfortable with it, have an apprentice or journeyman complete the work under the supervision of a master electrician. These electricians in training tend to charge less per project.

DIY is possible with basic tools. Professional audits provide comprehensive assessments and tailored recommendations.

Motion-sensor lights use one watt while on standby and five watts while turned on. They’re usually on for one hour over a 24-hour period, bringing the total wattage to about 28 watts per day. LED lights use around 6.5 to 8 watts while on. If you leave an LED light on all night, with night ranging from 10 to 14 hours, you’re looking at using 65 to 112 watts a night. You can minimally cut your wattage in half by switching to a motion-sensor light.

Hawaii is currently rated as the most expensive state for utilities. How much are utilities for a house in Hawaii? With electricity costs in Hawaii totaling nearly 42 cents per kilowatt-hour, residents are paying more to run their households than any other residents. Electricity costs in Hawaii are so high, mostly due to the fact that most of the electricity available to residents is produced using oil that must be shipped in from other places.
