"Amazing job on our backsplash tile! We chose a very difficult pattern and type of tile. The guy that came was able to get the job done even though the glass tile was very difficult to cut and he didn't think he was going to be able to do it. I was pleasantly surprised that he tried hard enough to get it done! Definitely recommend!"

"We changed the color of our original oak floors in our kitchen. After Garry's finished the job you would think they are new floors. They look amazing. My wife and I are so happy with the service, quality and price of the job. I would HIGHLY recommend Garry's Flooring to anyone."

"We have a beautiful, bright, functional kitchen now. Top bro’s redid our whole house which we now love. With Cesar and his team if you dream it you can have it! They designed a wonderful space. Extra drawers in a massive island and built in trash/recycle. The cabinets, counter, all 3 bathrooms, tile work and wood floors are gorgeous. The top bro’s kept everything as clean & tidy as possible every one who entered our home was honest, respectful, trustworthy and friendly! I felt comfortable leaving my home while the guys were working in the house. Cesar and his crew were very responsive to our questions throughout the whole process. Thanks. Would definitely recommend the top bro’s for any project you need done you won’t be disappointed. Will be using them of all of my projects in the future!"

Small jobs welcome

"Adrian truly has a gift and has been a godsend to our project! After hiring a friend (who supposedly was a contractor and did more than botch the job), Adrian beautifully restored both our bathrooms. He had the extremely tough job of starting from scratch and fixing this huge mess! He explained in detail the things that needed to be done and why. His tile work is unbelievable! He is meticulous and has such a pride in his work. He is a true professional. He does a great job of cleaning up before and after his work. We already have him doing other jobs for our house. We cannot wait for him to do our kitchen! Our house turns 100 in 2 years time. We are restoring it to it's former, but modernized glory. We are beyond grateful that Adrian was recommended to us and know he is the man to get this job done efficiently and beyond well done."

"Roman is very detailed and knowledgeable. I've never had a contractor who tried that hard to understand the job even before coming for a quote. Very easy to get a hold of as well which is rare for contractors from this site. Would highly recommend."

Ceramic Tile questions, answered by experts

There are several low-maintenance shower floor tiles to consider for your bathroom. Stone tiles are easy to keep clean and only need an occasional resealing to keep them looking their best. Porcelain is another low-maintenance choice, as it doesn’t stain easily. Vinyl is also suitable for easy upkeep. On the other hand, one of the highest maintenance options for bathrooms is wood tile.

Glass tiles are among the most difficult to install. This is because their transparency makes the adhesive visible, and any imperfections on the opposite side are also likely to be visible. Glass tiles also must be handled carefully during installation, as they are prone to scratching. For these reasons, glass tiles often require professional installation to get the most out of their beauty and unique look.

If you hire a professional to install a new floor, you can expect to pay between $50 and $75 per hour for labor. It takes two days on average to install a new floor as part of a bathroom remodeling project, but your timeline depends on your bathroom’s size and layout.

A quality shower tiling project is a bathroom upgrade that can increase resale value. Bathroom remodels have the highest return on investments for any home update. Tiling a shower won’t offer the potential 70% ROI that a full bathroom remodel involving upgrading fixtures, installing storage, and a complete room retile will. However, you can expect an average return of 55% to 60% for this refresh.

The difference between floor and wall tiles is that floor tiles generally have higher strength and porosity ratings than wall tiles. Wall tiles are typically weaker and more likely to crack or become damaged under sustained pressure like high foot traffic.

For this reason, avoid using wall tiles on floors and vice versa.
