Garry Combs is an expert in the floor covering industry. As President of Garry’s Ultimate Flooring he has helped thousands of Business & Home owners in educating them in what floor will be right for them. With his “there are more important things than just getting the sale attitude” he has helped many people in getting the flooring of their dreams. Since 1978 Garry has been involved in the flooring industry, when he started a successful carpet cleaning business that he later sold. He then started a Flooring Installation Co. which led to his first retail store that he opened in 2000. Garry opened his second location in the summer of 014 in Algonquin / Lake In The Hills IL. where we cary all types of flooring and Mattresses. In 2016 we added to our Belvidere location only Amana, Whirlpool, KitchenaAid Appliances. Ashley and Serta Furniture and Mattress. They came on time and were the nicest people. The whole crew especially Michael i couldn't ask for anything else. After they had completed the job, they had me go around to inspect the flooring and backslash. I was so impressed. I would hire guys in a heartbeat and you will never have to worry.

installers were great, let us know the status every day, they did an excellent cleanup job and got finished earlier than estimated. The floor is beautiful. We were return customers as we used Garrys at a previous home to refinish wood floors and would use them again for floor or carpet jobs.

Guys were great. Garry came and gave me a bid. Had a hard time picking from all the stains he offer to finish my floorsand was very nice when I had to push back the project a day. Ron and the guys were very good at explaining what they were doing..step by step. The smell from stain and poly was terrible though but the floors look beautiful.

Only gripe with the service was twice I was told the crew would arrive at a certain time, and both times they were at least 60 minutes late. I was not living in the house and had a 40 minute drive to get there. The laminate floor and new carpet helped the house sell quickly.

In addition to carpet install, they also installed vinyl in the laundry room. The only reason for a 4.5 instead of a 5.0 is that I had a piece of chipped glass in one of my floor vases that they must have chipped by leaning something against it. I didn't notice it to tell them about it; noticed when putting my house back in order. Had a poblem with a leaking washing machine and a hot and cold water mixup. That said, Garry was very apologetic and returned in record time to correct the problem. I would hire this company again in a heartbeat and highly recommend their work!
