We could tell they had a lot of experience working together because they were super organized. While the boss, Dave, walked us through the process in detail, making sure we understood the job, behind him the crew set up quickly and efficiently, treating our home with respect. They were finished right on time, too, and left our house looking as if they had never been there. Before they left, Dave showed us their work and explained how these improvements would make our home more energy efficient. Every crew member made sure to say goodbye to us. They were amazing people! "The crew that was sent was professional and thorough. All the old windows (approximately 20) were removed by noon and all the new windows were installed, sealed, and cleaned by the end of the normal work day. A crack developed in one a couple of years later and, while it took a bit of time due to Holidays and the onset of the Pandemic to get the window ordered, Tom and Niko (the service people sent to replace it) were equally as thorough and professional. It took longer to fill out the paper work than it took them to remove and replace the cracked window. We have noticed a significant drop in our heating and cooling costs after the installation of these windows. They are a bit pricey but that is because the quality is superior. "I had Illinois Valley Insulation at my house to blow in insulation in my garage attic. I was told by the owner Scott Bickett that I needed an R30 value which means I would need about 8 1/4” of insulation blown in. He was paid in cash($1500 paid in full but only did half the work), and a couple of days later I went up there and measured and only have about 4 1/2 inches so he only did about half the work and charged full price. And when I confronted him, he told me there’s8 to 10 inches up there which is a lie and I’ve given him every opportunity to call come by Measure and prove to me that is there, but he has failed to do so because he is just proving my point that he is in the wrong. And now he still will not provide me with a receipt so he’s trying to keep the cash and hide it like he didn’t do the Work very unprofessional."
