The crew that was sent was professional and thorough. All the old windows (approximately 20) were removed by noon and all the new windows were installed, sealed, and cleaned by the end of the normal work day. A crack developed in one a couple of years later and, while it took a bit of time due to Holidays and the onset of the Pandemic to get the window ordered, Tom and Niko (the service people sent to replace it) were equally as thorough and professional. It took longer to fill out the paper work than it took them to remove and replace the cracked window. We have noticed a significant drop in our heating and cooling costs after the installation of these windows. They are a bit pricey but that is because the quality is superior. If you want good solid windows that look great for your house or business, I highly recommend Eurotech, Inc.

We had a 30 year old Patio door and ordered a patio door from Eurotech Inc, all from thebeginning everything went very smooth. Teh came out to take the measurements on time, and door is installed at the promised time. Door quality is unbeleiveble compared to those at local hardware stores. Installers even took the extra steps to remove all rotten wood pieces arond the door that was not part of the job and replaced them. To my amazement they had every single item they needed in thier truck. I have other work done by other companies in the past and they made 3-4 trips to the local hardware store. After the installation is done they sent another person to check the quality of the installation. If there was 7 starts they would get all 7. Looking forward to getting all the windows replaced by them pretty soon. A BIT THANK YOU TO ALL THE OWNERS AND EMPLOYEES OF EUROTECH. KEEP UP THE GOOD JOB.

The work was awesome in winter of 2018 and I’m scheduled for more work on the 13th this month to repair wind damage . My neighbors asked about the vented glass block windows and excellent framing (of the). Very nicely done, gives me sense of security as the old wooden push out ones caused me worry of more than one kind. I’m pleased.

The team for our new roof was excellent --- were supposed to be here on Mon6/26; did not finish job from Sat 6/24 but got a call at 8:00 am to tell me they wouldn't be at our home until Tues 6/27 - arrived at 8:00 - job done with all (thorough) clean up by 4:00 - Very efficient! Love their 30 yr guarantee-can trans to new owner!

It went well. It was quick, which was nice since it was January. They give you a lifetime warranty, and they actually honor that warranty without making you jump through 15 hoops.

It went very well. Ron Blue, the salesman, was very knowledgeable, and explained every aspect of the windows and installation process. I certainly could have gotten windows for less money, but I don't think I would have gotten the same quality and energy benefits. One of the openings it larger than a patio-door, so this is a real consideration in norther Illinois. Ron estimated that the earliest opening they would have would be in January, which was a little worrisome, but he promised the entire installation (11 windows) would be complete in a single day. Adam, the installer, called to come out to measure in October, and even offered to help me with the installation of the mechanisms I had purchased elsewhere. Since I would have a huge opening while they worked, he switched the schedule around and did the installation on Halloween. I was very happy to have it taken care of before winter set in, and to start getting the energy savings for the whole season. He and his crew worked efficiently and were very pleasant. They left no mess, and the windows look great. The cladding on the outside of the large picture windows looks so much better than the old damaged wood that was there before.

After the job was scheduled everything was punctual and finished on time.The shingles were decorator architectual grade. We paid twice as much as the most expensive quotes because of the special underlayment that is better than felt paper and the freeze guard is used in all areas and covers more area than the specified codes demand. Our city inspector was impressed by the underlayment and had never seen it before. I am satisfied with the job, materials, and guarrentee but not the price. Maybe in thirty years I will find the value of their work. The Roofing crew was one of the best I have ever seen.

The sales presentation was done in February on a very cold day. The salesman, George, understood that I had been through sales presentations in the past, so he cut to the chase and showed me why he believed his product, Great Lakes Seabrooke, were
the best value.
I also had the rare opportunity to go in a house that had these windows installed when the outside temperature was zero. The house was warm and comfortable.
The support people at their office were easy to reach on the phone and promptly answered e-mails that I sent and were flexible with changes and financing.
I was most impressed with the installation team. They sent 3 workers who were punctual and worked dilligently all day with only one break for approximately 11 hours. My job needed extra time to be completed in one day because all work was done from second floor so scaffold was needed for exterior work. Everything was cleaned up properly after they were finished.
I am very happy with the windows I purchased. My house has no more cold spots. It is not drafty and is holding heat well. All rooms have even heat. The windows look very nice, too.
I have had a very, very good experience with Euro-Tech Inc.and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

My husband and I recently purchased windows and a front door from Euro Tech. After getting bids from other companies we chose Euro Tech because we felt they offered the best quality and value.
We spoke with the company representative and ordered new windows and a front door. The products arrived on time just as the representative promised. The installers also arrived on time and got right to work. These workers were some of the best that we have ever had working in our home. We were impressed by how neatly the crew worked. When the job was finished the crew chief checked each of the windows to make sure it worked properly. The foreman noticed that two of the window levers color didn't match exactly and he contacted the company to make sure we got exactly what we ordered. A couple of days later another technician from Euro Tech came and changed out the levers. Before he left, he made sure I had no other issues or questions.
Everyone who comes to our home comments on our beautiful new windows and door. We have noticed how warm our home is now because of the new windows and door. We are very pleased with these products.

The initial appointment and estimate measurement took place in May of 2014. I told them I wanted the work done by the end of September and was assured that would be no problem.
A follow up measurement took place two weeks later, and we negotiated a contract for the window replacement.
Three weeks later, after my repeated calls, the rep finally responded and informed me that aluminum were the best route, as opposed to vinyl or some other approach. We arranged for another set of measurements for aluminum windows and renegotiated.
The aluminum subcontractor visited a week later and took measurements. Another two weeks later, the rep informed me that the aluminum sub did not think aluminum windows were a good solution because of the age and construction of my home's window openings (135 years) and recommended another solution.
Another subcontractor took measurements for the new solution about two weeks later.
After researching and getting other quotes, I elected to order the windows recommended by Eurotech in late summer. The subcontractor then came out yet again to confirm the measurements, and the windows were finally ordered in September.
The window fabrication took about two months, and the windows were finally installed in early December,
The work very well, complement my home wonderfully and the windows are great overall. I'm very happy with the ultimate solution and work, just not the persistent delays.

We ultimately were trying to utilize the best product for the application and we were trying to take care of the customer. The manufacturing time takes longer for that product line. "We apologize to this customer for any misunderstanding. Our products come from many different manufacturers. Each one has there own material warranty. All we ask is after the first year of free service, that our customers cover the cost of our van and our technician to come out and repair or replace whatever the defective part is. In today's world to have a trained technician come to your home and repair or replace something for under $100 is very difficult to find. We are not trying to make money on our service. We are only trying to recoup our costs of having our service van out on the street. We believe this is a great way for a company to take care of their customers and still stay in business. If companies don't charge for any service, the longer the company stays in business, the more their service dept. costs the company. Sooner or later the company would get put out of business. We hope our customers understand and respect us for it."

It took Euro-Tech 3 months to finally get to my job. The contracted installer took THREE DAYS to install siding on my garage. The installer showed up late all three days, was surly towards me, and did a poor job of installing the siding. I called repeatedly to the 800 number, and after 2 more months, they sent somebody out to look at the installation: the same surly man who installed it in the first place! He brought along another man who enthusiastically dictated a punch list to the silent, surly installer. the man dictating the punch list promised to be back within two days and fix everything. That was over a month ago. I called 3 days ago to again complain and get somebody here. The woman who answered the phone promised over and over to call me back in one hour. It's been 3 days. I would advise NOT doing any business with this company.

Sales process was longer than I wanted to invest but is part of the process. Ordered windows 8 weeks later they came and installed them. Everything was done as promised (showing up on time, keeping promises etc.) I was happy with the overall process. The weather was not nice on installation day but they worked through it and it was quality work.

We had a bad Winter and it snowed so hard that year. They had a couple of boards that were lose on the house and are just hanging there. They have gone too far with the siding. They haven't fastened it to the house. The cold air comes in on all four sides. I can't get them to come back to look at it. I have tried for 2 years. They didn't put the dryer vent in. Instead, they closed up that hole. The warm air from the vent goes into the crawl space instead of outside.

"We sent 2 different service techs to this customer's home to assess the issues that she was experiencing. We are not sure how these issues happened, the siding issues may have been storm related. However they happened, we wanted to make sure they were fixed. Our crew manager was sent out on 6.4.2014 to finish the service. Our Service Coordinator has left 3 messages since that date to verify that the service was taken care of to the customers satisfaction. The customer has not responded to any of the calls."

After giving Euro-Tech an F over the sales experience that we encountered and wrote about on Angie's List on August 8, 2013, I thought that there would be no way this place would ever live up to their warranty and fix some minor issues that I had with our previously installed windows.
I stand corrected because of Euro-Tech's Paul Metzinger. I'm not sure it was because of the poor review but one day out of the blue Paul contacted me. I had already made other arrangements for the replacement of the basement windows but Paul wanted to know about the service issues. Bottom line is that Paul worked with me to identify what we needed, ordered the parts and had them installed. He did not ask that I write anything in return. He just did his job and in my mind represented his employer very well.
I'm not changing my F to an A, but saying that I had two completely different experiences. One was terrible and one was excellent.

They are such a golden company. I can't say enough good things about them. They've done almost all my house. I intend to have them when I needed it roofed. They know what they're doing and I don't think they overcharged for the work and the quality. What I did like is their professionalism, their promptness and their quality. The windows worked. The heating bill went down for over $70 with the windows in. I don't have anything bad to say about them. They're very diverse.

The sales rep was great at his job. He was personable and professional and very informative; however, there were some issues after the contract was signed in regards to color being unclear and types of accessories were included. Although we used one of their banks for the financing, their in-house financer started to call me at work, inquiring what the hold up with the paperwork, which I found extremely unprofessional. I advised my hours of work and what is a better number to reach me and that was ignored even though my work hours are over at 3:00 pm so there is plenty of business hours to reach me if it is important to do so. There was little to no communication in regards to scheduling and the first day scheduled (where I missed work to accommodate) was cancelled. However when the work was done, the installers were very nice and were concerned in communicating with us and cleaning the messes made. They were all personable and knew what they were doing. The insulation installers even added rubber stripping and realigned the front door for us which was not listed in the contract at all. The installers and the sales men are the reason I would do business with them again despite the difficulty in between the contract and the work.

They called and said they are doing windows in our areas. They started with cold call saying if someone can come home and talk to us. Someone came and talked to me and he said the same windows will cost $13000 and three days later I called and said, “No that's ridiculous! I can't possibly take that”. A different salesperson came and he asked questions and talked to me and he scribbled some notes and offered to do it for $9000 but I knew it was good quality windows. I agreed to do it because they gave me 18 months ‘no payment no interest' kind of deal. If I am intending to resell my house I don't have to pay till my first term. They originally scheduled to put the windows in on 4th July and I got a call from the installer and they spoke something similar to Russian and not the best of English so I didn't understand what they were talking. The installer sounded like they would put in the windows and then wrap. I thought they would wrap with aluminum tapes. I didn't want to wrap because it would not look good on the house. They didn't come in July because of the rain we had and they forgot me because when I called them the installer was embarrassed and he said the scheduler will call me and I was dealing with someone named Tony. Tony insisted that they had told him that the installers had to wrap all the sides and I told them I don't want that as it will destroy the look of the house besides he is doing only the upstairs. He said he will not do the windows down stairs but only wrap them and he sent email samples with pictures with color metal and I told I don't want it like that. The installers came and they were three people and communicated in their language. They were quick and efficient and cleaned up after themselves very well but whenever they had to do something that was slightly out of the ordinary they couldn't for e.g. I had ordered a single glazed fixed glass window to cover a leaded glass window in the bedroom and then they came down and said, “we took out the leaded glass window and what you want to do with it”, and I said, “I didn't want that out but I want it in there”, so they had to redo it. While cleaning the outside of the window they got it all nice and cleaned but they installed the new window on the back of it without cleaning it so now I have a permanently installed fixed glass window with sticker glue and I haven't called them back to fixed that. They are supposed to do very good warranties on this and there was another place where they installed a window and I had bought a board for the window, so he said he has better board and he put in the board and it was not at all what I wanted. He put in a little board that was open and he put trim in there and didn't like my trim and put square trim and everything else was molded. Their communication with me was not good and it was hard to understand them and I wasn't sure of what they were doing. I stayed there so I could be there and there were two or three places where I was not happy. They didn't want to wrap any of the windows except for the little piece because it would be just as I had said that it would ruin the look of the house. All of the talk that I did in the office about wrapping windows and samples and all that kind of stuff was completely out of the window when the installers came in. I can't obviously say if I can recommend them to anyone. In between the installers and schedulers there was no connection. The installers didn't walk around and say we can do this here and do that here so that I could be assured and they didn't ask me about other things. They did get that installed right except that they didn't clean the glass. They claimed they will come back to fix anything and let's see if they do. Not only did they not use the materials that I wanted but they didn't use the quality of saw. You can use really fine cutting saw and make some nice sharp cut and you can use crude saw and make a rugged cut and their cut was not quite sharp cut on the trim so I was not impressed with their finesse of the work. I would like to see somebody do the cocking done neatly but I didn't see that either. The windows that they put in are branded and of good quality but it is just the company, their approach and their price.

I understand the frustration of having a smudge on the glass that you just cannot clean. I spoke with you in June, specifically about having an installer come to your home and remove the window from the outside, clean it for you, then reinstalling that window. This is a special circumstance since the window is on the 2nd floor and it is only accessible from the outside on a ladder. This is not an easy task, so we do need an installation crew to service you best. Thankfully we have been blessed with such nice weather this summer. We are seizing the opportunity to service as many customers as possible, unfortunately that does cause a delay when you have so many customer that need your help. As you know, we had a very bad winter 2013 and a few hail storms in spring. This means many customers have damage to their home that they rely on us to fix.
