It went great with the installation but when the back door was not put in improperly., they couldn’t be bothered It is not fixed to this day. I’ve been waiting since 1994 for them to come and fix the door. They have only one installer. He had a broken leg. So I waited for that to heal. He came out longer screws in and left. That was 2013. The door was mot fixed. Then they send a representation of the door distributor out. He said it was not installed properly. He offered to fix it if they paid him. They didn’t. Then they sent some from the manufacturer out. He called didn’t come. Said they had to “order” a part to fix it. I’m still waiting. It’s 2020. They don’t even return my calls. I would not use this company or their lifetime warranty if they said they would do it for free!

The crew that was sent was professional and thorough. All the old windows (approximately 20) were removed by noon and all the new windows were installed, sealed, and cleaned by the end of the normal work day. A crack developed in one a couple of years later and, while it took a bit of time due to Holidays and the onset of the Pandemic to get the window ordered, Tom and Niko (the service people sent to replace it) were equally as thorough and professional. It took longer to fill out the paper work than it took them to remove and replace the cracked window. We have noticed a significant drop in our heating and cooling costs after the installation of these windows. They are a bit pricey but that is because the quality is superior. If you want good solid windows that look great for your house or business, I highly recommend Eurotech, Inc.

We had a 30 year old Patio door and ordered a patio door from Eurotech Inc, all from thebeginning everything went very smooth. Teh came out to take the measurements on time, and door is installed at the promised time. Door quality is unbeleiveble compared to those at local hardware stores. Installers even took the extra steps to remove all rotten wood pieces arond the door that was not part of the job and replaced them. To my amazement they had every single item they needed in thier truck. I have other work done by other companies in the past and they made 3-4 trips to the local hardware store. After the installation is done they sent another person to check the quality of the installation. If there was 7 starts they would get all 7. Looking forward to getting all the windows replaced by them pretty soon. A BIT THANK YOU TO ALL THE OWNERS AND EMPLOYEES OF EUROTECH. KEEP UP THE GOOD JOB.

The work was awesome in winter of 2018 and I’m scheduled for more work on the 13th this month to repair wind damage . My neighbors asked about the vented glass block windows and excellent framing (of the). Very nicely done, gives me sense of security as the old wooden push out ones caused me worry of more than one kind. I’m pleased.

The team for our new roof was excellent --- were supposed to be here on Mon6/26; did not finish job from Sat 6/24 but got a call at 8:00 am to tell me they wouldn't be at our home until Tues 6/27 - arrived at 8:00 - job done with all (thorough) clean up by 4:00 - Very efficient! Love their 30 yr guarantee-can trans to new owner!

A Euro-Tech employee was scheduled to visit my home to provide a window estimate. About 20 minutes after the scheduled appointment I received a call saying the employee would not be able to make it and we would need to reschedule, no problem things happen. On the next scheduled appointment I needed to cancel and was not able to immediately reschedule. The next day I received 7 phone calls and no voice messages from Euro-Tech. I do not understand the purpose of this practice but it is certainly irritating. Unfortunately I can't comment on anything else besides the sales/estimate side of the business. The overly aggressive phone persuit was enough to decide to work with an alternate supplier for the work.

You have my sincere apology. In January we launched a new Contact management software. To say that it has not gone well is and understatement. Literally as of yesterday I cancelled my contract with the company Improveit 360 which is the Contact Management Company. I am not making excuses, just explaining what has been going on. We are switching back to the software we used for the last 7 years. We had very little issues with customers being contacted multiple times and messages not being left on the old system. It went very well. Ron Blue, the salesman, was very knowledgeable, and explained every aspect of the windows and installation process. I certainly could have gotten windows for less money, but I don't think I would have gotten the same quality and energy benefits. One of the openings it larger than a patio-door, so this is a real consideration in norther Illinois. Ron estimated that the earliest opening they would have would be in January, which was a little worrisome, but he promised the entire installation (11 windows) would be complete in a single day. Adam, the installer, called to come out to measure in October, and even offered to help me with the installation of the mechanisms I had purchased elsewhere. Since I would have a huge opening while they worked, he switched the schedule around and did the installation on Halloween. I was very happy to have it taken care of before winter set in, and to start getting the energy savings for the whole season. He and his crew worked efficiently and were very pleasant. They left no mess, and the windows look great. The cladding on the outside of the large picture windows looks so much better than the old damaged wood that was there before.

I had several awning windows that didn't open properly. I originally just wanted to find someone to replace the mechanisms, but after interviewing several companies, I realized that if I didn't know the original manufacturer, that would be very difficult. Apparently there are just too many different types of hardware to get the right kind (especially for a 50 year old house). So I ordered replacement mechanisms for the newer windows where I could find a part number, and decided that my best option was to simply replace the large older windows.

After the job was scheduled everything was punctual and finished on time.The shingles were decorator architectual grade. We paid twice as much as the most expensive quotes because of the special underlayment that is better than felt paper and the freeze guard is used in all areas and covers more area than the specified codes demand. Our city inspector was impressed by the underlayment and had never seen it before. I am satisfied with the job, materials, and guarrentee but not the price. Maybe in thirty years I will find the value of their work. The Roofing crew was one of the best I have ever seen.

The contractor arrived on time. He did not have a satellite image of our roof, so he made every measurement by hand with a tape measure--it looked very thorough to me, but took him a VERY long time. Over and over again he told me how "crazy" this job would be, how dangerous, how unique, etc., talking up how much work and expense it would be. After three hours, he sat my wife and I down to tell us it would cost $50,400.00. This was WAY over our budget and we told him so. He then, over the course of two minutes, knocked it down to $36,300.00 if we would sign the deal right that very minute, at 9:00PM. No time to consider, no time to get multiple quotes, right there. If he walked away, it was back to $50,400.00. We told him we could not do it, and he quickly left. Eurotech then harassed my wife three times that week by calling her and telling her things like "We saw the quote, and we believe it was too high. We want to come out and talk with you again" and wouldn't stop calling her. These guys are very well trained-- in high-pressure sales tactics. Beware.

WHEN THEY CAME TO DO AN ESTIMATE I LET THEM KNOW MY SCHEDULE AND HOW MUCH TIME I HAD ALLOWED TO GET THROUGH THE PROCESS... EVEN REMINDING THEM AS WE WERE GETTING CLOSER TO MY ALLOWED TIME. The sales presentation was done in February on a very cold day. The salesman, George, understood that I had been through sales presentations in the past, so he cut to the chase and showed me why he believed his product, Great Lakes Seabrooke, were the best value. I also had the rare opportunity to go in a house that had these windows installed when the outside temperature was zero. The house was warm and comfortable. The support people at their office were easy to reach on the phone and promptly answered e-mails that I sent and were flexible with changes and financing. I was most impressed with the installation team. They sent 3 workers who were punctual and worked dilligently all day with only one break for approximately 11 hours. My job needed extra time to be completed in one day because all work was done from second floor so scaffold was needed for exterior work. Everything was cleaned up properly after they were finished. I am very happy with the windows I purchased. My house has no more cold spots. It is not drafty and is holding heat well. All rooms have even heat. The windows look very nice, too. I have had a very, very good experience with Euro-Tech Inc.and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Sincerely, George Mascenic

Very unreliable! They were late to an estimate and did not call until they were 50 minutes late. The person on the phone told me they had a certain type of window and when the estimator came out, they advised they do not have those. He was very unprofessional as well. I was floored and would never recommend them to anyone.

The initial salesman was friendly and did give us good quote, but was a bit unprofessional and took way too long (3hrs!) to give us a quote. He arrived at 6:30 and didn't finish until 10:00. He also was convinced we needed a new roof from only viewing a satellite photo. He also had only been 'selling' roofs for 3 months. We didn't make a commitment that night and were told the quote was good for 30 days. The next day my husband received a call from the salesman's manager. Apparently there was a mistake with the quote (we never did find out what the mistake was). The manager said he would be in our area and would like to come out and give us a new quote. My husband agreed, although I would have passed. The manager came the next day and right away I could tell he was arrogant. He also was convinced from a satellite photo that we badly needed a new roof and in addition needed to replace the gutters at the same time. "One isn't worth doing without the other". He looked at ceiling damage in our kitchen and assumed it was from the roof, which it's not. When I said to him that we wouldn't being making a commitment tonight, he said "I can't believe you don't think this is important". And how he's been sitting in a parking lot for hours to only talk to us for two minutes". At that point I was really angry and annoyed and almost threw him out of my house. To sum up the estimate-they were arrogant and rude. never went in my attic, only looked at satellite photo and tried to upsell us.

Our manager was correct in that the best time to replace gutters is when the roof is being done. We use satellite imagery to measure roofs, because it has been proven to be the most accurate method available. This way we can give our customers the best most accurate estimate possible. Depending on the pitch of the roof, no one should be up on the roof unless they are tethered in which our installers would be. But, our sales people would not be. Once again I apologize to this member if they had a bad experience with one of our representatives.

My husband and I recently purchased windows and a front door from Euro Tech. After getting bids from other companies we chose Euro Tech because we felt they offered the best quality and value. We spoke with the company representative and ordered new windows and a front door. The products arrived on time just as the representative promised. The installers also arrived on time and got right to work. These workers were some of the best that we have ever had working in our home. We were impressed by how neatly the crew worked. When the job was finished the crew chief checked each of the windows to make sure it worked properly. The foreman noticed that two of the window levers color didn't match exactly and he contacted the company to make sure we got exactly what we ordered. A couple of days later another technician from Euro Tech came and changed out the levers. Before he left, he made sure I had no other issues or questions. Everyone who comes to our home comments on our beautiful new windows and door. We have noticed how warm our home is now because of the new windows and door. We are very pleased with these products. From start to finish we were impressed by Euro Tech's professionalism. Every person we dealt with was interested in making sure we were satisfied. I would highly recommend Euro Tech to anyone.

I went to a home improvement fair and Euro-Tech had a booth set up. I need my attic insulated. The individuals at the booth pushed hard for an appointment to come to my house and give an estimate. I received a confirmation call the day before and the girl told me that all home owners need to be present. I said I make all the decisions and am the lone title holder of the house. She asked if I was married. (I actually got married last week and he has not fully moved in yet). I was then told they would not come out unless he was there and I needed to make sure of it or they would not come out. I again said I am the only one that makes decisions for the house and I am the only one on the title. She then said they are not the company for me if he wasn't going to be present at the appointment. I asked to speak with her manager and explained to him that while I did just get married, all decisions of the house are made by me. He said it was for my safety but they won't come out unless he was there. Huh? My safety? Is he worried what one of his people would do if I was home alone with them? He then went on to say that if I was older, he also would have required my adult children to be there. Again, huh? So let me get this straight... If you are an independent woman, they will only come out if your husband is there to sign papers even if he's not on the title. And if you happen to have children who are over the legal age (hmmm... What would that be??? 18 y.o.?), they won't come out unless the children are there, too? I have been a home owner for 20+ years and never had a company act like this. Very discriminatory to women and older population. Would never contact or use them.

The initial appointment and estimate measurement took place in May of 2014. I told them I wanted the work done by the end of September and was assured that would be no problem. A follow up measurement took place two weeks later, and we negotiated a contract for the window replacement. Three weeks later, after my repeated calls, the rep finally responded and informed me that aluminum were the best route, as opposed to vinyl or some other approach. We arranged for another set of measurements for aluminum windows and renegotiated. The aluminum subcontractor visited a week later and took measurements. Another two weeks later, the rep informed me that the aluminum sub did not think aluminum windows were a good solution because of the age and construction of my home's window openings (135 years) and recommended another solution. Another subcontractor took measurements for the new solution about two weeks later. After researching and getting other quotes, I elected to order the windows recommended by Eurotech in late summer. The subcontractor then came out yet again to confirm the measurements, and the windows were finally ordered in September. The window fabrication took about two months, and the windows were finally installed in early December, The work very well, complement my home wonderfully and the windows are great overall. I'm very happy with the ultimate solution and work, just not the persistent delays.

We ultimately were trying to utilize the best product for the application and we were trying to take care of the customer. The manufacturing time takes longer for that product line. Ultimately I am glad we were able to make the customer happy. I wish the time frame would have went smoother though.

The gentleman who came to my home was very sincere, and very informative about exactly what was needed in order to replace the roof on my home . Additionally, my home is approximately 1300 square feet and is an A-Frame home (only two sides to my roof). I was very interested in how detailed Mr. Chavez was when talking about a complete roof replacement. What hit me like a brick was the price! Twelve thousand dollars was completely out of the question! He must have assumed that I knew NOTHING about roof replacement. And while in conversation he asked how much I would be willing to pay. And I told him flat out that I would pay nothing more than $4000 for a complete roof replacement. He then asked why, to which I responded by saying that others in my neighborhood with similar replacements were estimated below or just above what I was expecting to pay. Two hours must have gone by before we parted ways. But the next day I got a call from a manager or someone who had addressed themselves as such. They said that Mr. Chavez didn't do a good enough job in making the sale and this person wanted to come to my home to offer services. Again I responded by saying that Mr. Chavez did a wonderful job educating me on roof replacement, from start to finish. I then declined the gesture and said once again that I'd be willing to pay the four grand and not a penny more. And that's pretty much what ended that conversation.

It took Euro-Tech 3 months to finally get to my job. The contracted installer took THREE DAYS to install siding on my garage. The installer showed up late all three days, was surly towards me, and did a poor job of installing the siding. I called repeatedly to the 800 number, and after 2 more months, they sent somebody out to look at the installation: the same surly man who installed it in the first place! He brought along another man who enthusiastically dictated a punch list to the silent, surly installer. the man dictating the punch list promised to be back within two days and fix everything. That was over a month ago. I called 3 days ago to again complain and get somebody here. The woman who answered the phone promised over and over to call me back in one hour. It's been 3 days. I would advise NOT doing any business with this company.

There is something to be said about customer service. First when told that we are looking for an estimate don't push the hard sell. Second when told that I will not sign anything today don't push the hard sell. First appointment was late for one hour and did called reschedule. Second appointment sale did some good explain for window they are going to use. Spend some efforts to come up total but did not include main item - patio door. Signed contract with sounded price. Called salesman next day to modified and asking to include main new patio door, but no reply. called and texted and no reply. Finally texted and left message to cancel the contract. Store manager called not even want to understand what customer want but just to push initial pay for canceled contract, not in manner to solve issue. Unfortunately contract can not be re-negotiate.

I should have known when the salesman insisted that my husband had to be present for them to come that there was something amiss. I questioned this and was assured that it was a requirement from the better business bureau. Huh? Then when he arrived he gave us a TWO HOUR presentation on their windows. He really seemed to only have one type to sell, which only comes in a couple of colors. Then came the hard sell. He pushed so hard for us to buy right then it was difficult to get him out of our house. Then he made the theater of calling his supervisor to give us a supposedly better deal. This was absolutely hilarious. Nobody actually talks to another person like that. It was obviously for our benefit. And he kept pushing for us to buy the windows on the he spot and actually at the end was explaining to us how much money he loses if we don't buy on the spot and he has to come back. He even seemed to get angry. I don't care how much it costs you to provide the service you choose to provide. I didn't ask for a two hour presentation. I just want a quote on windows. If you don't want someone trying to strong arm you into buying VERY expensive windows (I will admit that they are nice for what they are, but probably more an anyone really needs) then don't let these people into your home,

The estimate was about $900. I was very impressed with the salesman's demonstrations and all the things that he brought to build credibility in the company. They offered us a good deal but we had to replace them all at the time, so we couldn't spend any money on that. Their representatives came to our door and it seemed like something we wanted to know more about, so we scheduled an appointment. I would like other people to know that the sales people seem very well informed and are able to answer any questions that might come up.

Euro-Tech came out and did a very thorough presentation about windows and what they could do with our windows. They also gave us an estimate.
