"Initially when I got the ring back the ruby was wobbly in it's setting. Took it back and thought that all was ok. Last week I discovered that my stone had fallen out. I'm heart broken. Will contact this company that seems to me from their comments of another dissatisfied customer that they were not at fault. Again the typical American way of not taking responsibility. I would never recommend these people. Stay away in order to avoid the heartbreak I'm going through now."

Although it was a 45 minute drive from our home, we felt it might be worth it, and it was. We made an appointment with John via email, arrived at 11:00, and spent just over an hour in his office. He'd given us an estimate on the value of the gold coins via email, and although the price of gold had fluctuated since he'd provided the quote, the final price was very, very close to the initial quote. An FHA appraisal is valid for 180 days from the effective date of the report. In some cases, you can have the appraisal recertified if you make your request before the original expires so that you still may obtain an FHA loan. If approved, your appraisal update is valid for one year.

The differences between market value and appraised value depend on the local market, so they can match, or either one can be higher than the other. If installing board and batten fixes an issue with the home, it could increase the value, but it isn’t commonly installed for that purpose. Board and batten is an aesthetic choice and, like most aesthetic choices, will do little to raise your home’s value. That being said, certain design elements can help attract more buyers, even if your home’s price won’t see a noticeable bump.
