His expertise in Chicago building code and city offices was instrumental in our project being approved quickly. He reviewed bids with us to ensure we selected a GC who could do the job and had competitive pricing. He regularly met and emailed with the GC and suppliers to address issues as they arose during the job so that all were resolved to our satisfaction. Throughout it all, he was just a nice guy to work with during a process that can be very stressful."

"We recently hired Hogan Design and Construction to remodel our kitchen and laundry room, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, the team was professional, reliable, and a pleasure to work with. Our designer, Kasia, took the time to listen to our ideas, offered thoughtful suggestions, and kept us updated throughout the design process. We trusted her guidance, and the results are spectacular. The craftsmanship is exceptional—every detail was handled with care, and the finished spaces are both beautiful and functional. Hogan sourced the cabinets, countertops, lighting, and flooring, all of which are high-quality and perfectly suited to our home. "Great! This review is long overdue. Marc was fair with his price and very meticulous with plans. We hired him after many interviews with other architects in 2014. Always was available as building was in process to address problems that arose with our builders. He also solved the problem of our garage flooding when we had a hard rain. Think of him often because he saved us tons of money and headaches! He went above and beyond the call of duty."

"It has taken me a long time to write a review because the experience with the owner of this company was very unpleasant. The owner spent most of a day at our house installing two new replacement interior slab doors. He damaged both doors during installation, and also put the doorknob to our bathroom door on backwards. The owner seemed very frustrated as he worked. Later, when I mentioned a burn mark that was sustained during installation, the owner became extremely angry to the point that I felt uncomfortable with him in my home. We didn't bother mentioning damage sustained to the other door, nor did we bother to mention or ask him to properly reinstall the doorknob on our bathroom door that he'd installed backwards. Note that this job was fully discussed before this owner accepted it. However, I think he may have regretted advertising a coupon discount. The owner appears to have anger management issues so, in light of the quality of his work and his behavior, I cannot recommend him."

"We absolutely loved our experience working with Sara (designer) and the Archadeck team on our new backyard deck. The team was extremely responsive to requests and adjustments throughout the process. There were a few punch list items that came up after the build was complete that they had a technician come out and fix very quickly. Would definitely recommend Archadeck to those looking not just for a new deck, but an overall professional, high quality build experience."
