"Good work in general; our basement no longer sees water for over 3 years now, which is the most important thing. But there were some real issues: The biggest issue is that USW did not adhere to local electrical codes, and did not arrange for a final inspection of the project. So we didn't find out that it wasn't to code until years later, and now it's a big hassle and minor cost to fix and get the permits. Ask your local gov yourself what you need to do for permits and inspections; don't rely on USW! USW said they would seal any foundation cracks found along the way; they didn't do this until I bugged the warranty dept about it (but they did do it eventually). USW sent someone out for the "annual checkup"... over 2 years after the install. It's a good thing they (eventually) did, because they discovered the backup battery wasn't charging. Now I know to check this stuff better myself. Prices also vary wildly and are kind of negotiable (I'd give more detail but I'm out of space)"

"The quality of the work was poor, the sod was laid and not rolled out which is preventing the sod from catching and causing the lawn to look uneven, the grass seed/ dirt was spread sporadically over the front lawn without focusing on the bare spots which was the ultimate goal of the seeding. (for treatment/solution to holes in the lawn to promote grass growth in those areas.) Also there was very little grass seeds or dirt spread to back lawn. I brought this to Kevin's attention and he said he would take care of it and that he ran out of dirt, also his response to my calls or e-mails was not timely or not at all. I called and text him on several occasions requesting that he comes to complete the job and he never showed up to complete the job as promised. I also feel the additional cost he charged ($1500) to lay 4 to 5 rolls of sod for 20 ft. x 24 ft. area (480 sq. ft.) , was over priced and he took advantage of me and I am a victim of price gouging. His initial quote he gave me was 3400 (for the seeding, retainer wall removal, aeration, power raking, cutting the grass, plant 1 bush) but I just noticed he has put 3500 on the contract so even in that instance I paid him $100 more than what was agreed upon. The contract that he wanted me to sign was very extensive and "construction focused" and did not address everything we had discussed for this project. It basically was an agreement to ensure payment and cover himself if I did not pay. When I noticed the contract did not list line by line description of the scope of the work I brought that to his attention and asked him to include what the job would intel ( work order) listing what we had talked about. He told me he would bring it when he came to do the job. I didn't receive anything, but he had already came to to start the job. By the time he finally came to start the job I had received a warning from the village due to my grass had grown more then 5 inches waiting for him to come and take care of cutting the grass when he was to start the project. The overall communication and follow up with this company is not good and they do not provide detailed scope of work orders even when requested."

He installed a French drain and shrubs to help with the excess rain water. He was very professional, thorough and completed my project on time. "We recently hired Dino and his crew to replace two decks and handrails in the front with TimberTech composite. Dino and his crew are like a family. They all worked together well and seemed to really enjoy what they were doing. Long days for them and several times I was telling them to â go homeâ , lol. They were great to work with and were always professional and listened to any concerns we had. If something wasnâ t quite right they would fix it. Weâ ve had workers here many times, but these guys were the neatest in regards to cleaning up debris and garbage. The finished product is beautiful and we are very happy with the project. "Our landscaping was original from when we built the house in 1988. We had 5 landscapers look at the project ( replacing all planting beds, stone, edging, and sod) and only Kingdomscape gave us a bid (when he said he would). They came out to do the work as soon as we approved the estimate and they worked every day until they were finished (approximately 2 weeks). The did a good job and we will use them by again."
