"I have used Touchstone Group Construction on multiple projects in our vintage Greystone two-flat on Chicago's southside: new bath on 2nd floor that required a complete gut, variety of plumbing work throughout the entire building, complete reno of our basement install of Crown-Molding in 1st floor unit, install of light fixtures. We are so happy with results. The work is always fantastic, pricing is very competitive. This is a professional operation, they know what it takes to get the job done and they have the resources. And most importantly, renovation especially of a historic building always has surprises. At all times, they never back away from the issue and always, always come up with solution that is reasonable and affordable. "The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"JCB does excellent work, they are quality craftsmen. They do the work quickly but thoroughly. Jack is one of the most trustworthy person that I have found in the building/service industry. Jack will problem-solve and guide us as needed but never "up-sells" unnecessarily. And JCB is a full-service contractor. Recently, they painted, replaced all the rotting wood on the exterior of our house, among other things. In the past, they have replaced a wall damaged by a water leak, refinished our basement and painted the entire interior of our house. I trust them implicitly."
