"We've had experience with renovations in the past, and this was by far our best experience. Frank was transparent and good at communicating. We stayed completely on budget (aside from a few things we added at the end), and the timeline for the most part was met as promised. (We were aiming to be done by Christmas, and aside from the cabinet crown molding and 4 drawer faces, everything was done). Chris, whom did most of the work in our kitchen, was fantastic. Personable, great workmanship, and provided suggestions and input based on his experience. Frank and Chris were also very easy to work with as we wanted to own some of the design elements but needed the helping installing them - i.e. farmhouse sink, backsplash, lights, island design, etc. Frank and Chris were clear about the specs that needed to be met, we purchased the items, and then they installed/built them. It was an easy partnership, and we would work with G&G Kitchen and Bath Restoration again."

"This is our third time having our French Limestone kitchen floor and granite countertops refinished but it is the first time we have used Natural Stone Restoration, Inc. to do the job. The quality of the work was outstanding and far exceeded that done by other companies. We also appreciated that Zuka elected to be on site supervising and that he was candid about the need to refinish varieties of floor tile we have in other rooms. Our home is on the National Historic Register and is also a Lake Forest Landmark. When we questioned Zuka about refinishing the original hand hewn slate tile in the foyer, he discouraged us from making the 1929 tiles look new saying the refinishing would detract from the original master craftsmanship and alter the patina of the floor. He obviously knows his craft and sacrificed a sale to preserve a legacy. I also like him. He is a consummate professional."

"The men saved most of the bricks from the old garage like I asked. (they are unique bricks and I wanted them to make a front porch to match the house). We had a vacation planned and the crew put down a new cement pad and then they waited 10 days until we came back before they started the garage. My husband wanted to be there when it was put up to make sure we didn't forget anything, and we had everything done the way we wanted. We asked for two extra windows for the garage to get more light and ventilation for upstairs, and Ricky went out and bought them that day. They were very patient with me picking out the color of the siding and sent me to a couple of garages they had done so I could see it in person. That made me realize I actually wanted it one shade lighter. The electrician was excellent. My husband asked him to put the electric lines inside the wood because he wants to drywall the garage. This required him to drill holes and made more work for him. He also had to dig a trench in the backyard to get the electricity from the house to the garage since the old connection got buried under the new cement pad. This was also a job he wasn't expecting. He was very pleasent and professional and nothing fazed him. Everything was cleaned up each day before they left. The cement pad was done just the way we asked. The electrical work was done perfect. The siding and flashing are perfect. The garage looks wonderful and my husband is thrilled. The neighbors all love it. The price was not the lowest, but was not the highest estimate we got. It was put up in in a timely manner. The quality and the professionalism of everyone was outstanding. I would recommend Garage for you to anyone!!"
