"It went extremely well. Kyle the owner was exceptionally polite, broke down every detail so we knew exactly what we were doing and how the pricing worked. He was very efficient on time. His employee he had working with him was also very polite and a hard worker. There was a ton of little details he did and it turned out amazing, you could see that he custom makes everything to your wants and needs. I would definitely hire him again and recommend him to anyone!"

Home Medic Inc. is dedicated to quality, integrity and most important customer satisfaction. Let us help you get your projects around the house done or make your dream kitchen and bath a reality.

"The job was masterfully done. Prompt, extra time spent each day to make sure the job could be left at a good stopping point. He had suggestions of how to make our design even better. We have to move pipes to make the new shower larger and he brought in a plumber who specializes in this area to ensure the work was done correctly. After the old tile was taken out and new tile laid he decided to take home our trim to redo it so that the new tile looked all the better. The work ethic and talent displayed receive our highest reccommendation."

We are a small construction co. Most of my employees are local Union workers. We mainly work on bridge repairs & structure though general contractors. We also do other jobs when there is no work available. We work on house repairs, commercial repairs as well. We mostly do general sub-contracting for bridge work with IDOT. All others jobs we can do with cash or check. I don't charge Union price unless it's with a large contractors. So do not think, we would be to expensive. We love to work and help if we can.

When deciding whether to use nails or screws for framing, the specific needs of the project must be taken into account. Nails have long been the go-to option for framing due to their affordability, ease of installation, and ability to withstand shear forces. They are perfect for structural framing projects where fast assembly is essential. In contrast, screws offer exceptional holding power and are particularly useful in situations requiring increased strength and resistance to pull-out forces. For projects that prioritize accuracy and long-lasting quality, screws may be the preferred option, though nails remain a dependable and efficient choice.

The best way to calculate framing costs is by basing your costs on the square footage of your home. On average, framing your home could cost anywhere between $7 and $16 per square foot.

To ensure you don’t go over budget, base your estimates on the higher end of the price range. If you know you’re going to use high-end materials or require a custom or complex build, you might even want to tack on an additional 5% of your budget.

Yes, most services include necessary frame modifications for proper door fitting. Confirm with your provider.

Whether or not you can fix water-damaged baseboards depends on the extent of the damage and the baseboard material. Medium-density fiberboard (MDF) baseboards cannot be repaired once severely water-damaged—you’ll need to replace the damaged sections with new baseboards. Wood baseboards may be repaired if the water damage is minimal and only affects a small portion of the baseboard.

There are a few easy ways to locate a wall stud without a stud finder. First, try knocking on the wall with your knuckles. Most parts of the wall will sound hollow, but when you tap over a stud, it will sound more solid. Alternatively, since studs are spaced 16 or 24 inches apart, you can measure those distances from a corner of the room, which will always have a stud.
