The job was masterfully done. Prompt, extra time spent each day to make sure the job could be left at a good stopping point. He had suggestions of how to make our design even better. We have to move pipes to make the new shower larger and he brought in a plumber who specializes in this area to ensure the work was done correctly. After the old tile was taken out and new tile laid he decided to take home our trim to redo it so that the new tile looked all the better. The work ethic and talent displayed receive our highest reccommendation.

I was impressed with his work and asked if he would redo the front of my enclosed porch and replace three falling apart external doors. Francisco measured everything, told me how he planned to do the project, told me what kind of doors to purchase and promised to send me an estimate and do the work in May 2017 (it was December 2016 at the time). He did not send an estimate and did not return six phone calls. It was frustrating to have wasted so much time when I could have been looking for another contractor. Unprofessional.

I have a shoot made of heavy weaved plastic type fabric for the trash to go down into the driveway. The shoot was too long, and instead of unclipping it, rolling it up, or asking me what to do to make it shorter, he chose to chop it off at the bottom. He fully admits that he did this, but refuses to pay me for it. I had specific bags to use for recycling, and asked them to use all the bags and not fill them too full, so that I can lift them to load them up to dispose of them. They didn't do that, so I will have to pay someone else to come and help since the bags were stuffed to full for me to lift. I will clarify that the actual demo went fine and they cleaned up nicely.

"I apologize for cutting your chute without consulting you first, however I needed to cut it to size for the job at hand, otherwise it will have just clogged up and defeat its purpose. The chute it's still fully functional and the cut off can still be attached back to the original piece. The garbage bags I fill up lightly so they can be picked up by anyone, you were not specific on how light the bags should have been filled up. We fulfilled what we were hired to do which was 4 hours of labor for 2 workers that included demolition of plaster walls and lath from a second floor bedroom, bagging up the waste and placing it next to the garage just like you asked, it will be unreasonable for us to refund you the$199 big deal back when we worked the amount of hours you paid for."

Francisco arrived in time and was ready to work after we revised the list I sent him by email previous to the work day. More things could have been done if he did not have to go to buy the weatherstrip that I did not abou it beforehand. He had no problem to go and buy what was needed since I do not drive and the store was 4 mikes from my house.

The wall was in worse shape than we thought so it took a little longer than expected. I have hired HoMedic before and will hire again.

Francisco was professional and talented. Every aspect of his work was outstanding. He was also flexible. When I saw the quality of his work, I asked him to add a niche to the shower. He added it in, and it looks beautiful. He had good recommendations regarding colors and design. He worked non-stop and kept us informed on each step of the project. He can be trusted with your house, your animals, and your project needs. We had previously looked into doing this project and got several estimates. All were much higher and only included a shower insert. We now have an entirely new bathroom for less cost. We will be recommending him to our friends, and I would highly recommend him. With his work ethic, talent, and trustworthiness, I would honestly hire this young man as a full-time employee.

Francisco was very responsive and communicative to get me on his schedule. Work was to be done prior to moving into a new home. No furniture to move or people to work around. Quote for the paint work seemed pretty fair at the time but had quoted 5 days for the job which seemed to be a bit longer than we thought. If the job was going to be done right than we could deal with the time. We purchased paint and gave access to the house to Francisco and his painter Joe. Joe supposedly was a very professional painter and seemed to have years of experience. During the time Joe was to be painting Francisco was going to open up the wall and do some electrical work. Francisco did a wonderful job with drywall and the electrical, I would most definitely recommend him for drywall work. Day 4 of the painting job and there was still a lot of work to be done. The job was taking much longer than what it should. There was horrible time management by Joe and unfortunately he was not being checked in on. We were told it was going to take even longer since the touch up paint was not the same, this was my fault however it took out a few rooms of painting from the job which should have shortened the time. 6 days later I was left with only 4 rooms and some trim painted and patched holes in the other rooms but no painting done. We were also well over our budget, purchased 4 gallons of trim and 4 gallons of ceiling paint more than needed per Joe's request and feeling like we just got 'taken'. Also, come to find out that when I went to look at my leftover paint Joe had mixed two room colors together which than left us with paint that could not be used as touch up for that room and I would have to buy some more for touch up. They did not tell us of the mix up but rather put it in the basement for me to figure out at a later date. Francisco offered to make it right by doing other work around the home but not monetarily. We still had to hire someone else to come in to finish the paint job, they did great and were very affordable. We had high hopes for working with Homedics but fell short. I WOULD recommend them for drywall work as well as some electrical however I would NOT recommend for painting especially if Joe is the painter.

Francisco Espinoza, the principal and chief craftsman, came out and gave a reasonable estimate for re-tiling the master bathroom floor. He started the project when promised and performed excellent work. When he returned to replace or adjust the kitchen cabinet hinges I asked him to repair what we thought was a small defect in the laminate floor of the powder room. He quickly discovered that the original job had been done poorly, causing a slow water leak that ruined the laminate floor. When the original laminate material was no longer available, Francisco suggested a compatible ceramic tile pattern. He then contacted his previously-scheduled customer to ask permission to delay other work, and installed our new floor in one day. The work, as before, was first rate.

The garage windows were not replaced on the day I scheduled HoMedic to come. I was told the replacement windows I had bought were the wrong size and would require extensive cutting into and repair of the garage vinyl siding, plus construction of completely new cases. I was told I needed to order custom windows and that the replacement could not happen that day. HoMedic then quoted me a much more expensive, separate estimate to do the window project that obviously would not be part of the Angie's List deal. Also, HoMedic (two employees) arrived late for the appointment, and since they wouldn't do what I brought them in for, I didn't have enough other work to fill the time. They performed the other items on my list, but I ended up getting roughly 5 hours of labor instead of the 8 that were in the deal. I asked them afterward if they would return to make up for the missing time, and they refused, saying that all the services had to be performed in one visit. (I checked, and this requirement is not stated in the deal fine print.) A couple of days after their visit, I had another contractor look at the garage windows. He told me that the ones I bought were a near-perfect fit and that he could pop the old ones out and the new ones in with no problem. He was able to do this in THREE HOURS, BY HIMSELF, and no cutting into the siding or rebuilding of the window cases was necessary. All he had to do was install one piece of 1" x 3" under each window to form a sill because there was a 1" gap. I feel that I was misled by HoMedic and that they tried to convince me that my plan for replacing the windows wouldn't work because they were trying sell me a much more expensive solution at their full, non-discounted rate. A caveat to everyone who considers an Angie's List online deal for "x" hours of labor: Be VERY CAREFUL of what you ask the vendor to do, and make sure you have more than enough simple, straightforward jobs to fill the time. Otherwise you will not get a "deal" at all.

"[Member Name Removed], we are sorry that you felt mislead. We are happy you were able to find a solution to your garage windows. It is never our intention to 'up sell' a customer. We are an honest company and if we feel that the job cannot be done properly then we will not do the job because we would not want to damage your property doing it the wrong way. We appreciate the fact that your first review was an A after the initial work was done and we apologize that your opinion was changed."

Franciso was a breath of fresh air. He showed up on time, was very professional and courteous and kind. Which goes a LONG way when it comes to anyone doing work in my home. In 4 hours, He removed and patched a piece of drywall that was starting to show water damage in my shower; as well as patched some partially patched holes I made during a recent DIY blitz; in another bathroom, he replaced the window and door trim from the last contractor's shoddy work, as well as hung a door perfectly to that bathroom; lastly, he helped me put together a table for our kitchen's command center. He performed quality work quickly and quietly (all while baby was sleeping in room next to where he was working), as well as cleaned up thoroughly after himself. After 4 hours, it was like he was never there - which is everything I've always wanted in a handyman.

Francisco was excellent. So good in fact we hired him for the next time we needed work done. Both instances involved dry wall repair as a result of completely different circumstances and he was very good to address each situation as it required. We had water damage due to a leaky roof and he was excellent with figuring out the best way to replace the dry wall and re-insulate the space. The second time we had a window replaced and needed the dry wall "mudded" over. He is punctual, courteous, and very professional with great communication by text message or phone. We highly recommend him.

I hired Francisco to replace the rotting wood around my garage door frame with PVC trim. Francisco had the whole job done a little more than 2 hours at a reasonable cost. Now I never have to peel, prime, and paint the wood around the garage frame again. Francisco did a great job and am very happy with the work.

Fransico did a fantastic job. He installed over 12 plus can lights, hung all the pendant lighting, changed all of the outlets, grouted the tile on all floors and installed the baseboards, He also reconstructed the pantry and floated all the drywall. He was on time and very professional. Fransico kept his work area clean and picked up when he was done. I will definitely use Home Medic Remodeling in the future.

It went beautifully! Francisco is very careful and covered the area with plastic and drop cloths. He did a fantastic job and it looks great! They arrived right on time and worked actually a little longer than the expected 4 hours. I could tell he wanted to finish the job the right way and just not run out the door. I would definitely hire Francisco again without hesitation. Very pleasant to work with and schedule the appointment with. Rich
