"We highly recommend US Waterproofing. Unfortunately, after repeated issues (we’ve had water getting through a basement door, water backing up from drain/sewer pipe, foundation cracks – all which were addressed) we now have had issues with hydrostatic water pressure delivering a great deal of water to our finished basement. Only one solution – drain tiles and sump pump installation. US Waterproofing was outstanding, every step of the way. They communicated clearly what was needed, and much to our surprise, what was not. They did not ever try to sell us anything that was not needed – only what was – installation of drain tile, window well drains, sump pump, and all work related. All of the crews involved were outstanding – in particular, the crews installing the drain tile and sump pump. The supervisor clearly and concisely explained every step – and when issues arose, they were dealt with promptly. The teams removing drywall and reinstalling also did very good work, and were very responsive. Everything was done correctly, and on schedule The work is now complete – and the basement is back to normal. I commend USW on all facets – they explained everything, did not try to oversell anything, and were responsive to issues as they arose. "Joe and Shawn of Contractors + (Kitchen & Bath Specialties) did an excellent job for us. Joe was prompt to come over and evaluate the job and provided a very reasonable bid right away. His company was available to do the work within just a few days from our acceptance of his bid. They installed a new small section of concrete backer board. They even adapted well to our request to use ornate bronze accent tiles as a border in the previous hole in the wall around the new tub spout and valve and used our closest matched new standard ceramic tiles to fill-in the inside of the accent tiled border. The finished product is definitely an improvement over the original old look. They also did a fine job patching the drywall access hole for us in the other side of the wall (other bathroom). We are Very Happy with this company's professional, concise & courteous work. Joe even discounted the final price $20.00 less than his original quote."
