"Within an hour of contacting him, Patrick came to my condo unit for FREE to evaluate the sump pump system.  Another plumber had previously given a rather incomprehensible quote based on his own past work on the building. Patrick was able to explain the other contractor's quote and clearly explain what type of system was in each unit (a point that had not previously been made completely clear).
Within 15 minutes of evaluating the actual sump pump and the other contractor's quote, Patrick was able to provide an apples to apples quote, a quote for an upgraded maintenance free system (an upgrade the condo board is considering), and a quote for a long term money saving option that would create a continuity of sump pumps across the building and a easy of care and continued maintenance at a more reasonable price.
If it was completely up to me, I wouldn't bother hassling with trying to get two other quotes to appease the condo board policy. I would hire McDonagh & Sons.

"Pete was very reliable, very responsive, and communicative, and his estimate was fair for both options. His crew showed up (along with his dad, who arrived separately--he works closely with Pete and is very personable as well) pretty much on time (8:15) and Pete personally appeared shortly afterwards. I was impressed by the asphalt laying equipment -- all company owned. The crew tore up the top layer and the base (except for the driveway apron which had to be totally removed), was determined in good enough shape for a second layer. The work was done efficiently, and the end result is exactly what we'd expect from a professional company. I approved the addition of a polymer sealant and it looks great! I am very pleased with what looks like a very new driveway (edges angled at 45 degrees) -- the crew was careful with grass areas, stone areas and our plants, and left the area perfectly clean and cleared."
