"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

"Joe Laverdiere from Kitchen & Bath Specialties gives homeowners a cheaper way to upgrade their kitchen! He & helpers do quality work. My new Quartz countertops lined up seamlessly & look perfect. I used my original cabinets. First I approximately measured for my new countertops & ordered the Quartz at Menards. Then, Menards sends a template. Joe came to my house to refine the template & in a couple weeks they're ready. Joe picked them up & installed them & a new sink. The sink cabinet needed a new floor. Joe installed the new sink & built a temporary frame to hold the sink in place until he could rebuild the floor & new sides. My island is Butcher Block. Joe cut the corners on site, sanded the whole top & installed it too. He even finished off my project by drilling new hole for my new drawer pulls. Joe & his team work very fast & efficiently. He does appreciate your help keeping sawdust picked up if working on a wood floor as it is very slippery. No problems occurred. & I'm very happy with the new kitchen at Weaver Ridge."

Pre Made Cabinets questions, answered by experts

The time it takes to install new cabinets depends on the scope of the project. For a kitchen installation, you can expect the process to take anywhere from 2-5 days for a standard layout up to a couple of weeks for more complex projects, depending on the number of cabinets and the installation space. For a smaller project, such as installing cabinets in a bathroom, you can expect the work to take a week or less. Your cabinet installation expert will be able to provide you with a realistic timeframe.

Buying a kitchen cabinet or finding an experienced cabinet maker is likely going to be your best option unless you have the necessary experience and woodworking skills. If you’re just replacing one cabinet base or one cabinet, making your own is entirely possible and more effective, assuming you have the right equipment.

Yes, most installations include warranties for materials and labor. Confirm details with your contractor.

If you have a drawer larger than 30 inches, you should consider adding two pulls, but, again, this decision is up to personal preference. Any pro you work with on cabinet installation can help you determine how many pulls you need and where you should place them.

If your walls aren’t plumb, it can make installing frameless cabinets difficult because they require precise measurements so they don’t show imperfections. Any dissymmetry with installation can cause the doors and drawers to not function correctly. Frameless cabinets are also thicker and heavier, making them harder to install by yourself.
