I was afraid the bathroom would be destroyed, so I measured the distances that was needed between the carbon braces. (a lot of Youtube research) I figured that the only part of the bathroom affected would be the sink. The sales rep disagreed and said the shower had to be taken out. I gave in and had the shower taken out. The installation crew actually placed the braces almost exactly where I had marked. The shower did not have to be removed. Mid American Basement should have sent an installer instead of a sales rep to verify the placements. It cost me extra to have the shower removed and will cost more to repair the tear down."
