"Not only did my floors turn out far beyond what I thought was possible, I'm pretty sure, he's a floor artist. I received 4 estimates. I didn't go with the cheapest quote, I went with the one that was only slightly higher because my gut told me he was the guy that would do the best job. My gut was 100% correct. "Matt at Luminous Flooring was great to work with and accommodated our need to finish the floors in two stages. The wife and i couldn’t be more happy about how the finish came out. It really looks like a new floor and not a refinished one! Outstanding workmanship by Steve. He was punctual, clean, and friendly guy. Stay away from linoleum, cork, hardwood, and engineered wood, as water and moisture in your mudroom will damage these quickly.

Laminate flooring should be stacked horizontally and laid flat to avoid any warping or stress to the boards. To stack it, you should do so in a grid with each row of flooring packages positioned at a 90-degree angle to the layer beneath it. This will provide the best support so the flooring will not sag in the middle.
