With our house that was a daily occurrence. With everything that was done the house is able to keep the heat or cold regulated. When you touch the wall you feel a neutral temperature, the cold or heat does not seep through the walls like it used to.The house is also more sound proof to outside noises i.e wind, rain, barking dogs, people working in the yard (mowing their lawn) early in the morning. Overall the house maintains its temperature making it a comfortable living environment.We love the Pella windows that were installed and plan to replace all windows in our house eventually. "Overall I am quite pleased with the job Dennis and his men did.  It took a bit longer than expected (approx. eight working days versus four expected), but the delay was because the job ended up being more difficult (angled deck board placements) than anticipated, and the quoted price stayed the same.
Not all of Dennis' workers always seemed like they were sure what they were doing (had trouble with basic construction math on a couple of occasions), and it seemed he has trouble getting some to show up on time (although this could just be my perception...maybe they were at other jobs in the morning?), and that may have had something to do with the delay as well, but I'd rather the job be done right (it was) than fast.
The workers were always pleasant to talk with, kept the work area straight, cleaned up well after the job was done, and took extra time to make sure the deck was completed in the way that I wanted.  I will definitely be keeping GCS on my list of contractors to call when I need future work done.
