"Outstanding service. Emailed to request a quote on Sunday night and we had an estimate by Monday and as soon as we approved the estimate, they started on removing the trees. My wife and I had also done some clean-up of smaller trees and yard debris on our own and Flynn's disposed of it for us for no additional charge. All of our work was completed as soon as they were able to get Julie to come out and mark utilities. After the trees were removed, they did a great job cleaning up the yard and you could hardly tell we had trees removed at all. Hard-working, professional, pleasant and prompt. No complaints and will definitely call again or refer to friends for any future work."

Look for the telltale long scars, like strips or gouges in the bark of the tree, running in sometimes jagged lines down the length of the trunk. These scars will often show vulnerable living wood inside the tree. It’s also common to see scorched or wilted leaves on the side or top of the tree where lightning struck.

Most experts recommend removing a tree that has sustained more than 25% loss in the limbs, trunk, or circumference of the bark. Doing an initial trimming of damaged and dangling branches, but then waiting a few days of monitoring to decide how much more you might need to cut can help you better assess the total damage to the tree.
