They removed deck boards to discover a gap in the siding. Checked for water damage (thankfully no damage). Sealed the gap. I have not had any rainwater issues since. Price was totally reasonable. His estimate was detailed and showed that he understood the root cause (concrete block footing vs 42" pier now required under code). I agreed with his repair approach.
