"This the second fence I have had SP Fence install. They did an excellent job on this fence just like they did on the first fence. The first fence is now 7 years old and still looks great. They did 2 maintenance visits on the first fence and both were great. If I need a third fence in the future I am definitely calling SP Fence, nice people, quality work, good price."

"Y & B Fencing has my high recommendation. The visit to my home to measure and get the details about my job was professional, very friendly and thorough. The quote was sent to me quickly and the price for the job was the lowest I had received. I hired them not on the cost alone but the confidence I felt in the integrity and dedication of the company. They exceeded my expectation. My install was scheduled earlier than first anticipated and they maintained good communication throughout. The installers arrived early and completed the job efficiently. The quality of the materials and workmanship was top notch. My fence is beautiful and I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you Y & B Fence for not only my new fence but for a pleasant all around experience."

"Outstanding Vinyl Fence & Exceptional Service from D & D Fencing! We couldn’t be happier with our vinyl fence from D & D Fencing. From start to finish, the entire experience was smooth, professional, and stress-free—and Juvi is truly the reason this project turned out so great. Juvi was knowledgeable, honest, and incredibly easy to work with. He took the time to explain our options, answered every question, and made sure the fence design fit our property perfectly. His attention to detail and pride in his work really showed. The vinyl fence itself looks amazing—clean, sturdy, and high-quality. It completely transformed our yard and instantly boosted our home’s curb appeal. The installation was efficient, precise, and left everything neat and clean afterward. If you’re looking for a reliable fencing company that delivers top-notch results, D & D Fencing is the way to go. And if you get the chance to work with Juvi, you’re in excellent hands. Fencing questions, answered by experts

The best wood for fence posts are redwood, cedar, and pressure-treated pine. Wood posts made from these materials will typically lasts between 15 and 30 years, depending on the specific type you choose and your local climate. With proper care and maintenance, a fence post made of these materials can withstand most weather conditions.

There’s no definitive answer to this question because dog owners and experts are conflicted about the efficacy and morality of electric fences. However, physical fences are typically considered a better option since they provide guaranteed containment for your pup, provided they are tall enough, and your dog can’t dig under them. Physical fences can also provide privacy, which might stop your dog from barking at people or animals walking by. Physical dog fences tend to be more expensive, but most homeowners find them to be a better option overall.

You can use pressure-treated wood for a horizontal fence, but you’ll need to purchase a thicker and higher-quality variety to ensure it doesn’t sag or warp after you install it. Use #2 pine grade lumber and boards and thicker dimensional lumber, such as a two-by-six. You’ll also need to use stainless steel or hot-dipped galvanized fasteners, as the chemicals in the treated lumber will cause regular galvanized fasteners to rust.

Concrete is one of the easiest, most cost-efficient, and most effective ways to stabilize a fence post. To stabilize a fence post with concrete, you’ll dig a hole around the post in question and fill it up with concrete—easy as that. Concrete lasts about 50 years on average, so it’s a long-term solution.

Retaining walls offer more value to a home if they also divert water, prevent erosion, or help support a foundation. The ROI of a retaining wall is between 100% and 200%.

Both fences and walls can increase your home’s value, but you’ll spend significantly more on a wall than you would on a fence. A stone wall costs approximately $5,000, a retaining wall costs $6,100, and a fence costs $3,200 on average to put prices in perspective.
