we are family owed and operated co.

"I hired Chicago Affordable Roofing to replace a flat roof over a sun room in my home which was badly leaking water after rain. After completing the work, the leaking was WORSE than before. When I called them to come out and examine the work as per their 3 year warranty, I could not get anyone to show up after repeated calls and entreaties. Bottom line; they will do inferior work and will not honor their bogus warranty. I finally was forced to call another roofer who told me that not only did they not fix the underlying problem, but failed even to seal the edges of the roof. In addition, their work was sloppy and unprofessional. They promised to remove a deck that was over the roof as part of the price. After tossing it in pieces onto my lawn, I was informed I would have to pay an additional $250 to cart it away. When I refused, they left it in the alley. Thank god the city of Chicago took all the large pieces. I have filed complaints with the Illinois Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. I contemplated filing suit in small claims court, but I was in the process of moving and could not devote the time. Hire these jokers at your own peril!"

Some of the most common chimney problems include:

  • Creosote buildup
