- Alpine ConstructionFirst job was back in the early 90's they refinished some old oak floors that were in bad shape. The did an excellent job They remodeled our bathroom in the 90's - great job. Another floor refinish, two roofs, window repair, interior painting and small construction prior to a sale. Deck sanding and repair. They most recently did work early in 2012 - when they repaired some dinged walls, did interior painting, refinished a wood floor and repaired a roof - all for a pending real estate sale. They were under the gun to get the work done very quickly and they did an excellent job! We once called them at night to secure my parents house after it had been broken into. No one was in town to do that and Alpine saved the day

"The inspection was scheduled promptly, the inspector did a careful and thorough job. He provided a somewhat dire assessment on the ant issues (I knew that we had a problem), provided a full suite of things which the company could tend to to extend the life of the interior wood structure and exclude pests for the longer term. Their use of all natural chemical control was a big plus. We signed a contract and the technician came a few days later. Unfortunately, the birds were "in" on that cool and rainy day so we decided to leave them to his second visit to complete the treatments/exclusion. The technician was polite, tidy, and willing to answer questions. On the second treatment day, the birds were out and the exclusion process was completed. They guarantee the work done for a year with the promise of return to address any issues. It is too early to assess the longer term run at this point but so far, so good.

"The installers did a great job installing both the windows and doors. Very clean and professional installation. The only negative would be a miscommunication on window function. We initially looked at a Pella vinyl window that had a night latch which we liked. These were west and south facing windows so we wanted to go with something more durable and decided on Pella fiberglass windows. When we asked if the fiberglass model had all the same features, we were told by TVE yes. However, these particular windows apparently don't come with a night latch. The double hungs were also somewhat difficult to close both upper and lower windows. TVE called the Pella rep and asked them to set up a review with us to check function and to see if anything could be done to add a night latch. I very much appreciated TVE's proactive approach on this relatively minor issue.
