"this company was a no show. I stayed home all day waiting, he called 5 minutes before he was to arrive and said he had gotten hung up on another job and would come about noon. At 130 having not shown up, i called and left a message. No response. Called Angi phone number. Now I'm struggling with not being able to know who the new company is, they are coming Monday, Angi has my money. I don't know if the replacement person will know what I want worked on in advance. Not happy about all this!"

However, don’t install laminate flooring over carpet since it may void the manufacturer’s warranty. Plus, carpet is often too plush and soft to properly support a laminate flooring system.

Sometimes, it’s best to avoid putting flooring under cabinets or installing the cabinets first. Installing cabinets on top of the flooring can void the flooring warranty. This can be a costly problem, especially if accidental flooring damage occurs during installation.
