"All Service Moving was exceptional. Great customer service - easy to schedule and flexible. Royce & Frost did an AMAZING job moving all of our very heavy and fragile belongings. They handled all of our requests and items with care and worked both efficiently and quickly. They were super friendly and very customer service oriented. I can't thank them enough for the GREAT job they did. I highly recommend All Service Moving for anything moving and/or storage related. And DEFINITELY request Royce & Frost to handle your job. "Jason and Adam arrived at the house we were staying at in Garden Valley on time and set right to work loading everything into the moving van. All the items in the GV location probably took about 30 min. Those guys work fast and efficiently. Then we all drove to Eagle to load the rest of our belongings in storeage. My husband and I drove to our new house in Star and waited a little over an hour for Adam and Jason to show up (lots of construction in the area). After the van was unloaded my husband and I went back to sweep out the storage compartment and Jason and Adam had done that, too!
Both Jason and Adam were easy to work with and very accommodating. We couldn't have been more pleased with the service from Space Age Movers.

Moving questions, answered by experts

Some movers will disassemble bed frames and include this in their price. Others will charge extra for this service, so always check before booking. Disassembling the furniture yourself is one way to lower the cost of moving a bed frame if you have the tools, the time, and the extra bodies to help you complete the task safely.

The best way to pack mirrors is to use specially padded cartons or boxes made for mirrors. Be sure to thoroughly wrap the fragile mirror in padded paper or bubble wrap before sliding it into its box. That way, there’s a protective barrier in between the mirror and the box. Then, fill in any gaps with crumpled paper or additional packing materials.

The best way to move a 3-bedroom house long distance depends on your budget. Hiring a full-service moving company works best if you have a higher budget. If you’re on a tighter budget, renting a moving van and doing everything yourself is your best bet. Other options include renting a storage container, pod, or freight container. You can also ship your belongings if you don’t have many items.

Renting a moving truck is often the cheapest way to move long-distance, with costs ranging from $1,000 to $2,100. For smaller moves with fewer items, a moving container can cost as little as $700. As the distance of your move increases, using moving pods or containers can become more cost-effective because you can ship them to your destination and avoid transportation costs like gas, mileage, and lodging.

The best bet for most large items is a four-wheel dolly, but it depends on the size and shape of the couch. This tool provides extra stability for heavy loads and enhances maneuverability, which is useful when squeezing through a narrow doorway. Additionally, four-wheel designs reduce the effort required to move the dolly, which minimizes the number of required helpers.
