Our goal is to offer you the most economical solution for your roofing & siding needs. From simple repairs to a completely new exterior, Perfect Pitch Roofing would appreciate the opportunity to become your outdoor exterior company.

"Pitch perfect roofing performed an inspection for us, and then helped us when we met with the insurance company inspector. The inspector agreed with the damage the company found, but unfortunately our insurance company wouldn't cover it, so we didn't end up replacing our roof. Even still, Kolton went out of his way to make sure our needs were met. He was always punctual when he came over, and was easy to communicate with texts. He really went out of his way to help us, and we will always come back to Pitch Perfect Roofing because of it."

We are a general contractor that serves Iowa and Illinois. If you can think it, we will figure out a way to create it for you at an honest price and great customer service. We have several financing options available for almost every type of credit risk. We offer several promotions throughout the year for both product and financing.

"Failed to show up on agreed upon work date due to overbooking. Bid vinyl for an aluminum replacement, then was unresponsive about bidding aluminum. When we decided to go elsewhere, six months later they sent us an invoice for an additional, arbitrary $3k for work not performed. We disputed the invoice and never heard back until we got another invoice another seven months later seeking double the original amount including monthly interest and an ‘overhead & profit’ fee."

For estimates are free, for me to come out to see what needs to be done. Then I wil have a price and then we will for from there. I have been in the roofing business for 35 years, 8 years in the Iowa City area. Five years with the BBB with an A+ rating.

Evans Home Repair, Inc is a full-service roofing and construction company that offers excellent home building services with fully trained and qualified professionals. 5 Employees with workers compensation.

"A year after having my roof shingles redone, I was found to have a few damaged shingles attached to a loose satellite TV antenna base following a bad windstorm. There was debate as to whether this was a roof repair guarantee issue or not. Jason Evans decided to be honorable and made the repair on the same day at no charge. I have found him and all his workers to be decent, pleasant, highly competent, and work neatly and very clean in all the work done for me. I plane to use Evans Home Repair for all my future home repairs. My neighbors have complimented me on my new roof."

Roof Ice and Snow Removal questions, answered by experts

When starting the engine, you typically leave the choke on a snowblower in the "choke" or "closed" position. After starting, let the engine run for a few minutes to warm up. Then, gradually open the choke, moving it to the "open" or "run" position, allowing more air into the engine and transitioning to a normal fuel-air mixture. The exact duration varies based on the snowblower model and ambient temperature, but as a general rule, you should open the choke once the engine has stabilized and runs smoothly, typically within a few minutes.

Snowblowers come in three different sizes: first-, second-, and third-stage blowers. Each additional stage is larger with higher intakes, more powerful, and has more gear options.

A first-stage blower, also called a snow thrower, is usually best for snow 6 to 8 inches or below. Electric snow blowers are usually only available in this size. If you regularly get snow that’s well above six inches, consider a second-stage snow blower. If snowstorms dump 2 to 3 feet of snow repeatedly during winter, you need a third-stage snow blower to tackle it.

Yes, most states require that snow removal companies be insured under workers' compensation. This protects the employees financially if an injury were to happen (and when dealing with ice and snow, it’s possible that injury could occur). In addition, most states require snow removal companies to be covered under general liability, which would help cover the cost of any property damage incurred during the removal process.

Ice dam removal costs anywhere from $650 to $2,000, with most people paying about $1,200 for this service. The price you pay will depend on a few factors, including the removal method. If your pro uses salt or tablets to get rid of the ice dams, you might only pay $200 to $300. But if they use steam, your costs could increase to $800 to $1,200.

When temperatures drop far enough, even rock salt can’t melt the ice. The briny solution freezes before it develops, and the salt doesn’t work, which happens around 10 to 15 degrees Fahrenheit. Keep in mind that wind chill and other factors impact ice-melting progress. Some ice melters, like magnesium chloride, work at colder temperatures and work better for deep winter freezes.
