"They painted my ceiling with the wall paint instead of the white. Some places were missed or not well covered. There was a little debris left from when i removed a wallpaper boarder, and instead of just scraping it off, they painted right over the little chunks. it looks bad. The other professionals that i have hired for flooring, windows, etc have commented on the poor painting job. its not actually a "poor" paint job, but for the price i paid, it really should look better. The guys cleaned their brushes out in my bathroom sink and toilet (what the heck!). It was kind of a mess. I wouldve expected the owner to either be at the job site or at least make a follow-up call. Im sorry that i have to write a poor review; he is a nice guy."

"We are in the midst of a kitchen remodel with a mix of plaster and drywall in the walls and ceiling. Had a hump in the ceiling and quite a few holes to patch. Scott came within an hour, inspected the work needed and gave us an estimate on the spot. Plus, he was back less in than 24 hours and got right to work. "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
