In summary, The doors and windows are nice, I think probably a little pricey. When I had my house siding put on after the windows, the siding installer showed me the window installation on the outside was sloppy but secure and covered up ok with the siding and wrapping. I think the time frame was way too long, some people have houses built in this time frame. (Oct 2014 - Feb 2016) The interpersonal skills are poor. Started out very friendly but with problems communication shut down. If you want decent windows and have 2 years to get them in and don't need to be treated great this is your place. Quotes on little extras seemed absurdly high but I suppose that is to cover them in case something goes wrong. When the job started all progressed well until I had to ask a question or clarify certain details. The crew leader was quite unpleasant to speak with as he would often reply in a way that seem rude or trying to contradict what I believed to be correct. On day two, I had enough and spoke to the lead directly and openly explaining I am totally a novice when it comes to plumbing but since I was the one paying for this, I'd appreciate having my questions answered in a courteous way. Further, if the lead didn't have the answer I definitely would go back to the company or person I got the quote from. The crew lead didn't appreciate the fact I made a list and shared it with his superiors. In the end, the job was completed on time and everything I asked for was done. During the one and half days of work, I would have appreciated better communication from the lead, but my understanding is he generally works on new homes with other contractors and not face to face with homeowners. This is why I gave Wrenn's only a B rating. Initially, they didn't show up on time; Then, person picking us up wasn't dressed professionally; Then, when we got to the agency, it took long time to get car! Rental agent really pushed us to buy automobile insurance to cover the car. This was the $85 I noted above. Otherwise, Nationwide insurance covered the daily cost of the car because this was a small "fender bender" accident! We were so upset, after turning in car, I contacted district manager. She was wonderful on the phone and made it right by refunding our money and giving us a "free weekend" rental!

My Jeep Liberty was T-boned by another car. My insurance company, State Farm provided a list of places that they work with and recommend but, I turned to Angie's List and after reading numerous reviews for auto body repair shops, I chose Hopkins Auto Body. It turns out that they were on State Farm's list as well, that had no influence on my decision. I did speak to several people, as I was working for a large company and Hopkins Auto Body was mentioned a few times and highly recommended as being a shop that will do the job right. I called Hopkins Auto Body and my contact there was Jeff. Since my vehicle couldn't be driven, I contacted State Farm and it was towed to Hopkins Auto Body. They promptly did an estimate and I gave the go ahead. It took a few weeks for the repairs to get done. I stopped in once and was shown my Jeep as it was in progress. While I don't know anything about auto body repair, as a 3rd generation antiques dealer and a luthier (violin repair), I understand quite a bit about the repair process. I was impressed with how quickly and willing they were to show my my Jeep in progress. In addition they provided a loaner car as soon as one was available, which was a tremendous help. They answered all sorts of questions and made me feel (even though their shop was full of repairs in progress) that I was the most important customer. Which is going by the wayside in today's retail world. The repair took several weeks because there was a part that wasn't available anywhere in the country and they opted not to buy parts from a salvaged vehicle, which meant a lot to me. I never did meet Jeff in person although I spoke to him numerous times and he was fantastic about giving me updates in addition to telling me that my Jeep should not be considered a total loss by State Farm and if need be, he would speak with them about this. Upon picking up my car I discovered that the brakes barely worked and the alignment was out as the Jeep had a tremendous pull to the right. This was especially noticeable at high freeway speeds. I contacted Jeff and made arrangements to take the Jeep back on my next day off. Jeff wasn't there, so I worked with Jake that day. Jake went above and beyond my expectations. He and I assume a repairman quickly discovered my problem and started to fix it. It took longer that day than they originally thought so Jake took me, in his own vehicle, to a restaurant, where I could have a leisurely lunch. Fortunately for me the restaurant was close to other shopping and a coffee shop, so, I was able to kill time. He came and picked me up when the repairs were complete and as I was driving home on the freeway, I was absolutely thrilled that my Jeep drove like a new car again. Everything was great! I hope that I don't have to use them again (especially due to an accident) but if the need ever comes up they will be the only place that I will go, thanks to their professionalism friendliness and incredible customer service. Another piece of information to note is that I had to pay my deductible, of course. I had recently started at my job after nine months of unemployment and money is incredibly tight. When I wrote my check for the deductible, I asked if they would hold it until the upcoming Friday, which was payday. That was no problem at all. I wish that I could figure out how to nominate them for a Page of Happiness especially because the accident was an unhappy situation but Hopkins Auto Body went above and beyond what most businesses do to make this an incredible experience, in this world where old school values are disappearing by the minute. I give heartfelt thanks to Jeff, Jake and Hopkins Auto Body. You have a customer for life and not only will I recommend you, but the next day after picking up my Jeep from the corrections that needed to be done, I found out that a friend of mine had an incident involving a manhole cover, which did damage to her car. I didn't waste a moment in recommending Hopkins Auto Body repair. Hopkins Auto Body has restored my faith in service providers as I have, for the most part gotten used to poor work and extremely poor customer service. You guys are the best, in my opinion!!!! He came over and observed what the details were, wrote up the numbers and heard from him within 3 days, his quote, I thought was very reasonable considering our friends had a quote for a new shower (only) and that cost was 10x that amount. He called me before the remodel was taking place and gave me the name of the store and people that I would need to speak when getting the items for my bathroom ordered. So I went to the recommend place and ordered everything. He started earlier than he was suppose to he took everything out of the bathroom and disposed of it all. When he was sheet rocking and texturing, he asked me if I wanted my hallway done because there were a few dent's and cracks in the my wall and my sons room (which were gaping holes). I told him he didn't have to do that,because it would take some extra work and we didn't have the paint to match it currently. But when I came back from my appt. he had the holes filled in the hall, with the putty, AND the wall in my son's room repaired which was way beyond the customer service I ever expected.Then of course there were some hiccups, like the sink top didn't quit fit right so he called he store where I had to special order it and ordered a side slash for it (HE DID IT NOT ME) He also cleaned out my sink drain and found my past,present and future diamond necklace that I thought I lost forever, most people would've just put the new pipe on and said forget it ,but he cleaned the old junk out of it. And due to that it was found... (: Also I would like to say I asked him to make me a 2 outlet instead of the one that was already there and he was okay that. Then on the last day of the remodel I wanted to change the drain cover to the sink, which mind you had already been set in silicone, and put to use, he swapped it out for the new one. He also went and bought a new toilet line because he didn't like the one that was on there. And he re-did the pipes with all new copper. He was very clean and didn't leave his tools lay everywhere, which having little kids is a concern for every parent.I trusted him enough to give him my garage opener so he could come and go if I wasn't here, since he does this on a part-time basis. I am VERY happy with the work that he put into my bathroom. He didn't complain once, I want my down stairs bathroom done also and you can bet I'm calling him back!!! Exceptionally the best customer service I have EVER RECEIVED!! I wish I could post pictures because I would. He did a very good job, very friendly to my dog and my kids. WONDERFUL OVERALL EXPERIENCE. So I called and he(jay) said bring it back we'll fix it.I thought good someone who stands behind thier work NOT !! He later called and said they couldn't do anything with it? Why did he say he could?? I took it upon myself to just redo the cover myself,but I needed a good piece of foam.I thought they owed me at least that so I called and told him I'm redoing it myself anf I think you f-ed me for 90 dollars so it turned into a cussing and yelling match with him calling my house several times till I told him never to call my house again!! He said he's been doing this for 25 years and he knows what he's talking about. Well...long story short I fixed it and it looks WAY BETTER then what the so-called pros did. My experience went fairly well. They did a good job and they let me make a couple of payments because I didn't have enough to cover what it cost in the end. I had enough to cover what they told me it would cost, but then the guy forgot a part and I had to pay for his trip to go get the part and come back as they get paid by the hour. I would recommend them to others. I was kind of stuck because it was winter and it was cold and my furnace wasn't working. I called them up, they came out and they told me what they thought it was and how much it would cost and I had enough for it. They brought the parts and fixed it and it ended up that he needed an adapter, but he didn't have it with him. He made a couple of calls to see if anybody else that was out on the road had it so that they could drop it off and nobody did so he said that he had to run back to the shop and get it. It ended up that I had to pay for his trip there and back and it went from $400 to $600 and I didn't have enough for it so I called and made arrangements and they allowed me to pay the rest at a later time."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ia/sioux-city/peterson-heating-and-cooling-reviews-6603702.htm"},"position":10}]}

FAQs for patio cover service projects in Sioux City, IA
While the terms deck and porch are often used interchangeably, they are two distinct home features. Porches offer a roof that protects from the elements when coming and going from the house. Generally, porches are on the front of your home. On the other hand, decks are generally built in the backyard of a home and offer no roof or protection from the elements, like rain or snow. Porches typically require less maintenance and upkeep thanks to the roof, but both features require regular cleaning and repairs to maintain good condition.
The cost of an awning is $1,400 to $4,400 on average. However, this cost could be as low as $100 or as high as $7,500, depending on a few factors. The type of awning you choose, the size you need, and your location all affect your overall cost.
For example, portable awnings you can put up and take down yourself range from $100 to $400, whereas motorized awnings are more luxurious and cost between $2,000 and $3,500.
The cost to build a deck is $8,025 on average. However, this cost can range anywhere from $1,500 to $22,000, depending on multiple factors, such as size, materials, and deck type. You can expect to pay $30 to $60 per square foot when building a new deck.
Cedar decks are often the most cost-effective option, ranging from $4 to $9per square foot for materials. However, pressure-treated decking, which is resistant to rot, is more expensive, ranging from $15 to $25 per square foot for materials.
Awnings are either fixed or retractable and can be paired with a variety of cover materials. Fixed awnings are a permanent outdoor feature of a building. These are highly durable and require ongoing maintenance. Once installed, the position of this awning cannot be changed.
Retractable awnings are more popular than fixed awnings since the cover can open and close. This allows homeowners to open and close the awning, depending on the weather. When not in use, it can be closed to allow for extra space.
Besides the type of awning, you’ll need to choose the type of cover. Your awning installation professional will review your options with you, including availability and costs. The types of covers you can choose from include:
Wood, which is durable but can be damaged easily by rainwater and fire
Cotton offers flexibility, weatherproofing, and easy cleaning
Canvas is highly durable and is a good choice for retractable awnings
Metal is sturdy but is prone to rust
Polyester is easy to clean and is a more breathable option
Polycarbonate is highly resistant to UV rays and is difficult to damage
