    Adam was referred to me by my brother and his wife after he installed their hardwood flooring. I needed a mosaic backsplash installed in my kitchen and laundry room. He came to give me an estimate on the day and at the time he said he would. He gave me a written estimate. I accepted it and work began. Adam was very prompt and professional. Anytime he knew he wouldn't be at my house as expected, he texted me to let me know. We were so happy with his work that we hired him to build our 14x28 foot composite deck and to rebuild our front steps. After that, we were still so impressed that we hired him to install railings on two of our new porches. Adam Miller is an excellent contractor with a strong work ethic. He is one of the few contractors that worked on our house that I would welcome back! And on top of that, he was very kind to my 5 year old son who was absolutely fascinated with all the construction that was going on...and quot;Hey Adam, whatcha doing?and quot; was a constant but I never heard him get annoyed or even ignore my son.     When I have a large job and need a new contractor, I always test them with a small job to see how things go. L&H Construction (Lee Harper) proved himself on a chain link fence job last fall. He paid attention to construction details, did things on time, and most importantly communicated constantly with me. My real job was spring $12K landscaping project on one of my income properties near Anschutz medical center. My big problem? I don?t live in Denver and would not be able to supervise the job. I needed someone I could trust completely. Lee called me twice per month over the winter to be sure things were scheduled correctly (and took care of snow removal). The concrete work needed to be done at the correct temperatures, and ultimately everything else (tree removal, grading, rock, permits, etc.) needed to be done so the turf could be installed before watering restrictions kicked in. Not only that, I was sending thousands of dollars for work that I could not see being done. Trust was everything? for both of us. In the end, everything was done perfectly at the estimated cost. Inspections by the City of Aurora passed with flying colors. In fact, this job was done so well, I joined Angie?s just so I could write this review. Like every contractor in Denver, Lee needs the work badly (although he would never say so). If you need a talented, responsive and completely honest contractor to handle your residential construction job? this is your guy.     Nate and his crew were awesome. They had some of the summer's worst heat, rain, etc and they still appeared each and everyday on time and ready to work. We've had so many people tell us how fantastic the house looks. They fixed problems that we didn't even realize were problems (like a hornets nest under an overhang). We would definitely hire them again, and in fact are already planning what we would like to have done next. Never did they ask for payment up front, not even a deposit. That's just not heard of these days. The office staff, specifically Liz, was there to walk us through all the different financing options available, and was a true pleasure to work with. We went with a higher end product versus vinyl siding, we cannot get over the difference it has made in our gas and electric bill as well as how quiet our home is now.
