Misleading website! (SCAM) "deal" On the website they have the "surprise" rent option which is "compact" or larger! To them it means the smallest and cheapest piece of junk/trash/garbage on the lot and it is the ONLY company in the market that counts economy as the same size as a compact! So DO NOT think its a deal! Then the piece of trash/garbage/junk had NO antenna so no RADIO as soon as you left town! In short AVOID this company at all cost!! Goto thrifty or avid where economy and vompact cars are two different classifications and two different sizes!

Had to use a rental car so I book online (it said they had cars available) so I book the appointment. I get a call 10 minutes before my appointment to find out they supposedly didn’t have any cars. So I say whatever and start looking elsewhere. My wife calls out to enterprise 20 minutes later because she didn’t know I had booked with them and what do you know they have cars available the exact car I said I wanted. So I tell her go ahead and book it so that I can handle what I need to and she tells them go ahead and then they decide to want either a credit card or a utility bill? Forget it im doing you a favor by utilizing your business and you’re making jump through a million hoops. Oh did I forget to mention my company uses oh I’m sorry used enterprise when a customer needs a rental? Not to more. I’m cancelling my current business account and I will never use enterprise anymore. Especially since budget is cheaper anyhow.

If my insurance company had given me a choice of car rental places - I would NOT have chosen the Enterprise Car Rental place on Florida Blvd in Baton Rouge. I have asked to not be forced to use them again. Ask to see whatever "contract" they have - not just the paper you sign. Ask a lot of questions about it so you don't get surprised later on. ESPECIALLY, if you don't rent cars, like how I don't ever rent cars.

I contacted Enterprise in Johnston, Iowa, for a 2 day, compact/subcompact car rental. At the time I needed to get the car, they were out of that size, but provided a new Nissan Frontier crew cab, short box truck for the same price. My car was finished 1/2 day sooner than expected and there was absolutely no hassle to adjust the charges down for the time not used. I definitely will contact Enterprise again should the need arise

This is the 2nd time Patrick and Kayla made fun of my disability and then they both made threats this is horrible place to go and how they treated us and you call there regional manger David Barron he is aware of it the first time it happened and doesn't care it happened again and now I had to go higher because making threats and discrimination toward a customer is wrong . It's being taking serious on my end

This occurred at the enterprise site at 619 York rd in Towson md. I have rented from enterprise at other locations and had good, honest service. When I rented a vehicle, I was verbally given one rate. When I picked up the vehicle, the return date had been changed so that the overall total was the same but my rate was higher. While I had the vehicle, I received a call that it was late, I questioned the date and told the operator the agreed date. When I returned the vehicle, my total had increased from about $600 to over $900 dollars. When I questioned the total, I was told he person that rented me the car no longer works there.

Worst experience in more than 30 years of traveling! Enterprise at Tampa airport and their off-airport location (Spruce Street) gave us a 6-week rental agreement, then called to say they can't rent for more than 30 days (nice to tell us 5 weeks after rental began!), wanted us to drive back to airport (45 minutes) to close out the rental and begin a new one. By then, we only had a few days left on the rental, but they persisted, were terribly abusive, rude, treated us like criminals, when the entire fault lay with their incompetent and uncommunicative staff. Don't even think about calling their "Escalation Dept.", which is far more rude and incompetent than the rental location staffs. We were charged $500 more than the original agreement, but were promised that $150 of that would be rebated to our credit card, which we accepted just to end the matter after 3 days of fruitless phone calls. As I expected, we never received the $150 credit. After 25 years of dealing with Enterprise, we will never rent from them again.

We were supposed to go to Alabama in August for my great- grandmother's 100th birthday. I haven't seen her in 13 years. I have 4 kids and she has never met my two youngest kids. My youngest child is named after her and she was excited about getting to meet her great- great-grandmother who she is named after. We had planned on renting a minivan because my car is too small for all of us to ride in plus the coolant tank had a leak. It was in no condition to be driven over 400 miles with 4 kids piled in the backseat and my youngest having to sit on one of her older sibling's lap. My husband went to Enterprise in Boone, NC a few days before we had planned to leave for AL to see about renting a minivan. They didn't have any there that day because they were all rented out but they told him they would have some back the next day. They told him to come back after 5pm the next day. He asked if he should go ahead and reserve one but the person he talked to told him not to worry about that because they would have vans there and it wouldn't be a problem. So, my husband went back the next day around 5:30-6:00 and they had no vans because earlier in the day, Appalachian State University, which is located in Boone, came and rented all of them! Well, he couldn't go to any other car rental places because by that time, they were all closed for the day and were also closed over the weekend. So, he contacted the Enterprise in Johnson City, TN and they told him that we had to pay a $130 deposit and they only accepted major credit cards or Visa or MasterCard gift cards and if we didn't have a major credit card then they would need a copy of one of our monthly bills showing a balance of zero. So, my husband got a Visa gift card and receipts for his equipment bill that he pays every week for work. He is a mechanic and runs his own business. When we got there, they told him they needed a copy of either our electric bill or phone bill. They didn't tell him any specific bills on the phone. They just said any bill. Well, we didn't have a zero balance on our phone or electric bills at the time because we hadn't yet paid those bills for that month. My husband told them he would pay them in full upfront plus he would even add the $130 deposit onto that. He wouldn't even have needed to pay for the deposit anyway since he was going to pay it all in full that day. So basically they would have been getting an extra $130 for nothing They still wouldn't let us rent a car because we didn't have a zero balance on those two bills or a major credit card. My husband even told them where we were traveling to and why but they wouldn't budge. They said that it's their policy. Thank you Enterprise for screwing us over twice at two separate locations! What is wrong with companies that treat people this way? They are greedy, ridiculous a**holes and they don't even need to be in business!

See above. Cheap car at a not so cheap price but , most importantly, I did not get points for the rental as promised.

These creeps are running a scam. They WILL try to charge for damage to the car that did not occur during your rental. Here is how it works. You rent the car from a nice polite kid who does no inspection of the car whatsoever. THEN when you return the car, the creep comes out and he goes over the car with a fine toothed comb. Finding every imperceptible defect possible. Then the BS starts. He needs to talk to his manager and so on. He is just fishing for idiots. I guess I made it clear that he had a fight on his hands when I asked him for his business card. He backed down and minutes later came running out to the shuttle to assure me that there would be no back charges. This attempted scam is not a problem with the "kid with a clip board". It is a systemic problem with the management at Enterprise. I'll never do business with Enterprise again. You can't fix dishonest / unethical.
