"I didn't end up hiring him but they came out and gave me an estimate. I'm certain he is a good contractor who would have been a reasonable choice, I got three estimates and went with someone else."
"Hoss and team were a great find! We had a large project which included turning our existing deck into a 4 seasons room, a new composite 12x24 deck with steps (and all the bells and whistles), and then a new fire pit. There was someone there every day working on this project. Hoss's crew answered all of my questions and their ability to come up with solutions for any hiccups was great!
This was a large undertaking for us and Hoss's team made it seamless. We highly recommend them for any large or small projects. They have customers for life and all of our friends and neighbors have been very impressed .
They offered great quality at an affordable price!
Thank you!!"
"Ted Brown and his crew with Deck Doctor did a fantastic job with restaining/resealing our wooden deck and steep wooden staircase. We had intermittent rain days to deal with, but Ted's team did a great job working through the rain delays, staying on task, and keeping us advised when work days had to be rescheduled, to allow needed time for the wood deck to dry between the rain dates. Ted is a very nice, easy-going professional, who worked very hard to make sure we were satisfied at every step along the way. He even arranged to power wash our dirty front sidewalk for free, near the end of the day after his team had power washed the deck! Great service and customer care all around!"
"We are extremely happy with Goliath Gutters, both the excellent quality gutters with built-in leaf guards, and excellent people and an easy process. We were in a bit of a time crunch and they accommodated us with a same day estimate and all the work completed on 3 houses a couple days later. Very impressive. They also had the sample gutter and many colors to choose from available when they did the estimate so we knew exactly what we were getting. The downspouts even are hinged with latches to easily raise for lawn work. Highly recommend! Really talented professional people."
"Josh replaced our shower surround and did a beautiful job. He is very reliable, neat, knowledgeable and honest! I would definitely hire him again and encourage others to as well."
"High quality work!! We needed some board replaced on our deck and he did a fantastic job and cleaned up his mess so well - deck cleaning could be another service they offer!!! Very pleased with the work and the price. I knew up front what it would cost and he allowed me to make changes when he arrived to do the work. The estimate was fair and he worked very hard - and late into the evening to finish up the deck. Would certainly recommend Dallas!!"
"Exceptional work and a true professional. Highly recommend and would happily hire Codey again.
Codey helped us complete a partially finished basement office by adding trim and casing around two doors and an egress window, installed a bifold closet with trim/casing, and added baseboards around the room. His work was clean and detailed and the room looks great due to this. He also fixed several issues from a previous contractor along the way, including resizing a door cutout that was too small, adjusting another door that never closed properly, and installed a header for the closet that a previous contractor did not.
Overall his work was exceptional, he was transparent on all aspects of the project, very polite, and completed ahead of schedule. Highly recommend."
"We recently had the pleasure of working with Matt on a home improvement project and we couldn't be happier with the results. His attention to detail is impeccable— from the framing to the wider steps and even the rounded corners, every aspect was handled with care. Matt completed the work promptly and communication throughout the process was perfect. Thanks Matt."
The average cost to build or install a gazebo is around $5,700, with prices typically ranging from $3,000 to $10,000. The final cost depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. For example, square gazebos and those made from metal can be more expensive, while brick is a more affordable material. Adding custom features like built-in seating or lighting will also increase the price. You can potentially save money by purchasing a prefabricated kit or performing some of the labor yourself.
Yes, many gazebos are permanent structures built onto the land. However, if you have a portable gazebo that isn’t secured to the ground, you’ll want to check the manufacturer’s instructions to understand when to put it away. Generally speaking, when it’s particularly windy or wet outside, you should take down your temporary gazebo.
Several types of porches are available to meet your needs and style preferences. Some common porch types include:
Porticos are essentially a roof over a walkway leading to the home's front entrance.
Sunrooms are closed-in porches that are an extension of the house with glass or plastic panels that allow optimal sunlight.
Wraparound porches extend around the entire home, or at least the front and one side, and offer multiple entrances to the house.
Back porches are an extension of the home’s floor into the outdoors. These offer more protection and privacy than a deck.
The main purpose of a gazebo is to provide a covered space for people to gather comfortably. They’re an excellent place for summertime get-togethers because the roof protects you and your guests from the sun. However, gazebos can also serve as a design feature, adding a bit of charm to a backyard or garden.
Professionals ensure safe, thorough repairs using quality materials, extending the life of your structure.
