"These guys did a fantastic job on my garage floor. I've done epoxy myself, on my garage floor in a previous house, and this was hands down a better option. The machines they used to do the prep work were amazing. It ground off everything and got the concrete prepped nicely. The product they used was also heavy duty and high end. At their recommendation we did a full flake covering and it was a great choice. It's been about six months and it's holding up beautifully. The finish is still perfect and I have no doubt it will hold up for years to come. These guys were honest, friendly, punctual, had a great price, and overall did a fantastic job. Avoid using abrasive cleansing powders on natural stone, as these products could damage the porous material. Using bleach is also a poor idea because of the porosity of the stone. Avoid using a scrub brush with metal bristles, as they could scratch the stone. If you know who manufactured your stone or who installed the fireplace, you may want to contact that entity for any advice on cleaning it safely.

Quartzite countertops are porous, meaning that liquids can seep into the stone and stain them. You’ll need to seal them before installing and resealing annually, depending on use and stone material. Sealing will help prevent stains and etching. On the other hand, you don’t need to seal quartz and other engineered stone countertops since they aren’t porous.
