Customers say: True professional

"We requested completion of a variety of tasks for our new home and later, some for the home we were selling. No matter what the challenge--and there were a few--they successfully met them. What a great experience! Grant, Chris and Dustin were very professional, but personable, too. They showed up on time, completed all tasks efficiently and well, and were kind enough to advise us on projects we were working on independently. We found their prices to be reasonable as well. After seeing their work, three of our children intend to call R & B Remodeling for their own projects. If that isn't an endorsement, then this is: They're a talented, trustworthy crew and a pleasure to work with. Hire them with confidence."

"Quit simply, the best! Fair price, cordial, and on time. In addition, he assisted with another project I needed done that day. Hired again to install a ceiling fan on a high ceiling. I will reach out time and time again for the assuredness of a job well done!"

Customers say: Quick response

"Earl and his crew, especially Scott and Jon have been fantastic! They came highly recommended as honest and knowledgeable contractors. We hired them to finish and FIX a bathroom addition after our previous contractor stole from us and damaged our property. They came over and uncovered massive mistakes and fixed them and turned the bathroom into a beautiful addition to our home. They gave us a great rate and they were just a real pleasure to work with. So much so, I hired them to tear off my roof and put a new one on. That went well and the pricing was exceptional! I then had them rebuild my porch! We will not use anyone else now! Any project big or small we will only call Earl. When you find a good crew and contractor you keep them! Call Earl, you will not be disappointed!"

"Installed a 42 inch door with wheelchair threshold to accommodate husband wheelchair easier. Previous door was 36 inches and a tight first for chair. Excellent job. Also installed some towel hangers in bathroom and repaired a drywall damage from a ceiling light taken down. Very pleased with work."

"

Brady is the best you'll ever find for home remodeling projects.
Showed up on time. Took the time to make ever job right.
Projects were worked on over a number of months, one at a time.

The best and most honest tradesmen I've ever found.
We moved to Texas in January of 2014.  We whish Brady could have come with us.
I've found some good (and bad) people to work on the Texas home.  But no one who comes close to the quality of work done by Brady Brower.

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

A pool builder can advise you on the best design for your property and vision, and can walk you through the process from design to a swim-ready pool. Knowing which questions to ask a pool builder can help ensure you choose the right person for the job.

Blueprints are generally available for houses built after the early 1900s. Before then, detailed building schematics like blueprints were rarely used and even more rarely saved. If you have an older house and need blueprints, you can have a new set drawn up by an architect or draftsperson.

Building permits serve a few purposes, the most important of which is to keep you and the people around you safe by ensuring your contractor does work safely and to code. Permits also help your municipality tax your property appropriately, as taxes are based on land improvements and the upgrades you make to your home. Finally, permits ensure your project won’t have a negative impact on the environment or your neighbors.

An architect is usually involved in the process of determining the layout and structural features and requirements of the home itself, taking into account the local codes, climate, and materials needed to make the home structurally sound. Architects may communicate more with contractors and subcontractors throughout the building process. In comparison to architects, interior designers typically focus on the aesthetics of a home interior and possibly exterior, helping the homeowner decide on color schemes, textures, and materials to incorporate into the design.

Framing is often the most expensive phase of building a house because it’s time-consuming and requires a lot of materials. It costs between $20,000 and $50,000 on average, depending on materials and labor costs. Before construction begins, it’s possible that purchasing land is the priciest step in the process. Some plots of land sell for $3,000, while others cost upwards of $150,000.
