I also needed additional black dirt brought in to make it perfect. From start to finish the communication was excellent with Will. "Contracted to do the above which he completed. Also contracted to remove bush and a stump. Said he would be over on the weekend to finish. This was on 7/3 and I paid him. He said he needed to pay his crew. Boy was I hood winked. What business does not have money in reserve to pay his employees? It is now 7/25. Called 3 times and left a detailed message no call back. Last night called using another phone number and talked to Tom. He promised he would be over that night 7/24 to finish the contract. As of this writing work not completed. So sad. This gives ALL contractors a bad rep. I was very patient and trusting. Never again."

"Took down and removed a 60' plus Norway spruce with a 4' plus diameter trunk, that was only 8' from our house. Also removed the stump, and cleaned everything up, nicely. This is the 2nd time I have used Nichols Tree Service, and will again, if needed."

There are two types of arborists: certified and consulting. A certified arborist is licensed and equipped to provide tree pruning, planting, fertilizing, monitoring, transplanting, treatment, and removal services. A tree can grow back from its stump, but full regrowth is unlikely (especially for more stubborn conifer trees). Instead, trees are more likely to send up a number of shoots from the dead stump, which will try to develop into primary stems over time. In other words, it will start to look increasingly bushy. The goal of killing and drying out a tree stump is to prevent that from happening, as well as make the stump easier to completely remove.

Cutting down a tree next to power lines is never a DIY job, and it’s a good idea to contact your utility company first. If the plant begins to wilt, develop spots, or change color, these could all be signs that your palm tree has a disease. But a few basic treatments, like pruning and applying fungicide, will usually be more than enough to return it to perfect health.
