Though it cost me a little bit more, the idea is clever and the end result is polished, enjoyable to o view and took care of all the rotted ends. I'm hiring Greg to stain my deck as well. Unlike others, he doesn't pressure wash decks, unless he has to, because pressure washing destroys wood."

"While an approachable and eager fellow, the skill level displayed, and the quality of the work and materials, are sub-par. I would not re-hire Renaissance, neither would I recommend them. When I got a bid at half what others bid, I should have recognized that it was too good an offer to be quality work. Now I’ve been delayedmoving by two weeks due to having to have Renaissance return for repainting in every part of the house, and the repairs were of such poor quality that I am no going to have to hire someone else or just do it myself. I am out of a lot of money, and so very disappointed, and stuck with a bad paint job. I had to constantly ask where he was when he promised to be on-site working. Amateurish work at best. Avoid. The addage, "You get what you pay for" was sadly true in my experience."

"I called Tom Hinders Jr. on the second day of a five inch note because he did not show up the first day, I called him four times during the day and he told me that after 45 minutes to an hour, he will be there, but he never showed up. So later that day, I called him one more time and he told me he was just finishing his other snow removal jobs and he was on his way to my place, but he never showed up. No good."
