"Everything went as explained, diagramed, and promised by our System Design Specialist, Mr. Nicolas Hruska. We initially contacted just the top two Foundation Repair Experts listed on Angie's List because we can't afford to have our home repaired by anyone who lacks the proper credentials, staff, tools, training, techniques, supplies, 25 year transferrable warranty, and the hands on experience to deliver all services as promised. We are extremely pleased with the final results to take back our homes basement from poor workmanship done by the original builder and owner of our home back in 1979 We purchased the home in 2001 and unknown to us the foundation had been placed on top of clay based sub-soil which was an acceptable building practice back in 1979. Today's building codes prohibit this careless and costly practice of home site preparation for the homeowner. "I hired this company to repair hail damage on my home in 2023. The job was to replace the roofs on my house and garage as well as siding and gutters on my house. Long story short they came out and did the roofs in a timely manner, the siding and gutters not so much. Communication was lacking and they tried to charge me way more than what my insurance scope was. I had to get a lawyer involved. He sued me and we went to court. I won my case in February 2025 and I am still waiting to be paid the money I am owed. I do not recommend this company, buyer beware."

Building a concrete driveway normally takes between one and three days, including the time to cure the concrete. Wait at least seven days before driving on your driveway and two days before walking on it. Your contractor may require additional time if you need to level the ground, install a drainage system, or order special concrete materials. You should place a layer of thick landscaping fabric directly over the concrete slab and then a thin layer of leveling sand over that to protect the pavers from moisture. For border pavers, you should plan on locking them in place with polyurethane adhesive. This will prevent them from shifting under foot traffic.

A concrete patio lasts an average of 30 years, but the length of life you’ll get from yours depends largely on the climate. In harsh conditions, including excessive rainfall and snowfall, a concrete patio may only last for 15 years. In a moderate climate and with non-expansive, supportive soil below, a concrete patio could last for up to 50 years.

Some patios will cause your property taxes to increase, while others will not. A good rule of thumb is that if your patio requires a permit, your taxes will increase. That’s because permits are necessary for “permanent” land improvements, and your taxes are based partially on improvements. Something like a concrete patio that’s considered permanent will bump up your property taxes, while a “temporary” paver patio or flagstone patio will not negatively affect your taxes.
