Jody Fencl, owner of Wildwood Floors, created the company in 1996. Originally, the business was based in Cedar Rapids, IA with a focus on serving residential and small business customers. In 2004 Wildwood Floors expanded it's reach to Des Moines and throughout the rest of Iowa. The company has continued steady growth, and in 2007 was divided into two separate owners to better serve major regions in Iowa. Currently Wildwood Floors has a strong connection to Des Moines and the surrounding area by serving all sizes of businesses and residential customers. Projects range from small to large and involve new construction, remodeling and refinishing.

"The short version of this review is that our floors are beautiful and are one of our favorite parts of the house now. We could not be happier with the work that Wildwood did! Full story, we were remodeling part of our home, which included refinishing all the hardwood on our main floor. Our contractor attempted to do the floors themselves and completely botched the job. Even with a full schedule and short notice, Jody came to our rescue faster than we could have hoped. Within a week of contacting Wildwood, the team got in and had the floors looking amazing. They even worked over a holiday to get the job done. A short time later, our contractors scratched the floor in one of the bedrooms. It took 1 call and within 24 hours Jody had his guys back out to take a look at the damage and the the issue was promptly fixed. 2 months later, our contractor damaged the floors again. Again, within 2 hours Jody was back at our home to look at the damage and the following week the floors were perfect. Working with Wildwood was by far the easiest part of a remodel which turned out to be somewhat of a nightmare. Caleb, Josh and Nick were professional, punctual, friendly and happy to answer any questions we had. They even went out of their way to clean up some messes left by the contractor. It was refreshing to work with a company that takes pride in doing quality work. I cannot say enough good things about Wildwood.
