"All Service Moving was exceptional. Great customer service - easy to schedule and flexible. Royce & Frost did an AMAZING job moving all of our very heavy and fragile belongings. They handled all of our requests and items with care and worked both efficiently and quickly. They were super friendly and very customer service oriented. I can't thank them enough for the GREAT job they did. I highly recommend All Service Moving for anything moving and/or storage related. And DEFINITELY request Royce & Frost to handle your job. Thank You!"

"AB Moving Services is good at responding quickly to customer inquiries and offers reasonable rates. I would rate them higher had it not been for some unfortunate damage in moving objects perhaps not normally moved. Depending on the movers I think basic moving such as furniture would be handled well."

"Eli did a PHENOMENAL job for our flooring project! Very professional from the get-go with great customer service skills when we first met. Gave us a reasonable quote, a detailed breakdown of the project, and was really flexible with our schedule/timeline. Always kept us in the loop from start to finish, and he provided honest recommendations as well as pros/cons for questions we asked and options we were looking at. The pics I attached speak for themselves! Quality of work, attention to detail, neatness, cleanliness, etc. My wife and I are so pleased with this young man's work; we already informed him that we will always call him for any handyman projects around the house that I cannot do. I proudly shared his quality of work to some of our family and church members, and would recommend him to anyone that needs his services!!!"

"did a really good job painting my apartment. I needed the walls refreshed and some touch-ups, and everything turned out clean and neat. They showed up on time, worked efficiently, and were easy to communicate with. The place was left clean after the job, which I really appreciated. Overall, I’m happy with the result and would hire them again for future painting work."

Moving questions, answered by experts

The first step in moving a house is to provide blueprints and assess which parts of the house you can move. The next steps are obtaining permits, inspecting the structure, securing road permits, and getting bank approval.

When it's time to move, professionals can prepare the house by disconnecting utilities, removing items, and adding support braces. The house is then lifted with steel beams, jacked up, and placed on dollies for transport. Once it’s at the new location, it gets lowered onto the new foundation, utilities get reconnected, and additional features, like porches or garages, are added.

Using moving pods is generally cheaper than hiring a full-service moving company, primarily because you handle the packing and loading yourself, which eliminates labor costs. The cost savings are most significant for long-distance or cross-country moves; for local moves, hiring a moving company might be the more economical option. Renting and shipping moving pods can cost between $2,000 and $5,000, depending on factors like distance, the number of containers, and the weight of your items. Some services also charge a monthly rental fee of $75 to $200. In comparison, hiring a professional moving company for a long-distance move typically costs between $2,700 and $10,000.

To treat office moving costs as capital expenses, which means recording them as assets, they must meet certain rules: they need to be essential for the business to keep running, directly related to the move, reasonable, and documented properly with invoices and contracts. These costs can include packing, transportation, and setting up the new office. Once these expenses are capitalized, they're treated like assets on the books and gradually accounted for over time through depreciation or amortization.

Yes, you can use a dolly to move a treadmill, though you won't always need one. If your treadmill has wheels and you’re moving it to a different location on the same floor, you can likely skip the dolly. But if you’re moving it up a flight of stairs or to a new home, a dolly can help you move it more easily.

Murphy beds can be relocated, but moving them requires disassembly and may involve potential wall repairs. Professional help is recommended to ensure safe removal and reinstallation, which may incur additional costs. Improper handling during the move can damage the bed’s mechanisms or structure, so careful planning and expertise are essential.
