  Ben and Jill Tompkins, the owners of the company, drove down to my place in Brunswick, Ga, within a few days of my contacting them, which was great. What prompted my call to the Tompkins, derived from my observation of a home on our community golf course. I saw a home that had a beautiful enclosed back porch. I was thinking of doing the same type of work on our home, and I decided I would contact the home owner, and ask who did his porch, Low and behold, the owner of the home was playing golf on the hole in front of me, so I decided to drive my cart up and ask him about his source for the enclosure. Surprisingly, it was his brother's company, and he asked if I wanted his brother Ben's number.Within two weeks of receiving the cost estimate, and our approval to do the work, the team was here and doing the job.It took a couple of weeks, but it came out spectacular. The workers, a three man crew, were fantastic, and very competent. They not only did a superb job, but cleaned up the area, each and every day.They built us an all season room, with low E glass windows, a pergola, which they screened in with 20x20 screening to protect us from the southeast Georgia sand gnats.It has been a couple of weeks since the work was completed, and we are just as happy today as we were on the completion day.Thanks Ben, Jill, and crewshow more

  Ridge provided these services in a professional and responsive manner. We bought our home in Morganton, while still living in Orlando. Ridge worked on our home before we moved in. We entrusted him with a key, and did not regret the decision. His work is top notch, he is very professional and trustworthy. During the process, he called me several times in Orlando to give updates, provide photos, and to communicate progress. His billing process is easy and accurate. Since I was not on site during the process, I trusted him to complete the job as we had discussed. He far exceeded my expectations.   This is the third trip here for a list of repairs or replacements and they NEVER dissapoint. They are an absolute delight to work with. They take pride in everything they do and everything is accomplished with professionalism, expertise and in a timely fashion. They show up on time or early, complete the projects within the time they say they'll be done and never complain if we add more to their list of things to do. Total Home Repair is nothing short of Stellar. We've used them three times and will never call anyone else.   Can't I get a -5 star rating? Cause this place deserves it. Where do I start? I searched high and low looking for the best place to have my iPad screen replaced a couple months ago and called around checking pricing and settled on this place for just $75. After getting it back, I didn't notice it right away but there was debris (lint and fibers) under my screen after the replacement. They offered me and told me that I had a 'lifetime screen replacement' on my iPad. This means that they cover the parts or labor if anything happens with it. They never told me about a "15 day workmanship" window that they have until today when I went to take my iPad back over to them to have them clean under the screen. The guy told me that it would be $40 for him to lift up the screen, wipe it all down and put the screen back on. First of all, they didn't even do the screen right, because the bottom right edge has a small 'gap' in it and it is not sitting down flush as it should be. Second there is lint under my screen for which is annoying to me because I see it all the time when I'm using my iPad. The guy told me that he would be willing to do it 1/2 off for $20, but he still had to charge me for it. I told him that it's a workmanship defect and that I am not paying for it and they need to honor their 'lifetime warranty' on the screen and fix it at no cost to me. He said that he was not willing to do that and would not be doing that and that I would have to pay him something in order to have it done. I told him I'm not paying him anything as it was not right from the start and he tried to blame it all on me and then tried to use a car analogy about driving a new car off the lot and then coming back a month or two later to try to get your new / used car fixed at no cost. I told him it's not the same thing and that he offered me a 'lifetime warranty' for which I want to take advantage of and he doesn't want to honor it and wants me to pay for another repair. I told him it wasn't happening and that he would be hearing from me again. My actions start here with my reviews to let others know about this place. I live in Chatsworth, about 20-30 minutes from Dalton where I had the screen replacement go and I don't always have my iPad with me when I go to Dalton. Do no take ANY of your devices here, do not purchase anything from this store and do not recommend this store to anyone. They do not care about their customers, they do not honor their supposed 'lifetime warranty' that they have on their screen replacements to ANY extent. You don't receive anything in writing for the warranty and that was the first mistake. They just verbally tell you and then don't honor it when you have a 'claim' for it. Please heed my warnings and stay away from this place and urge everyone you know to do the same. You will be mistreated! There are several other places such as CPR and My Tech Bench in Dalton to take your devices for which I will do next time for sure, even if I have to pay moreshow more
