When you don't have to go behind the contractor and make sure they're doing their job right makes a world of difference. I would definitely recommend this company if you want to have a screened in room added it to your home. Professional and friendly and strives to meet customers needs and wants. I am super OCD when it comes to details and the tedious work. I knew from the moment they started construction I wouldn't have to watch them like a hawk. And now a days most contractors you have to. So finding one I can trust is hard to do. Wish I could post pictures.

FDR built me a screen room at the beginning of 2022 and they did an excellent job. Rick was the sales person and FDR did exactly what he said they would. They were timely and committed to getting the job done to my satisfaction. What was really impressive was they came back to fix an imperfection I found a year later in the patio. The installer (Corey) came back several times to ensure the issue was completely resolved and would not settle for less. I'll certainly use them again in the future.

I am very satisfied with FDR's work on my four-season sunroom. I have engaged a few leading sunroom builders in the Atlanta area and have accidentally come across the FDR company profile and contacted Rick, their GM. I was a bit skeptical engaging FDR initially as they don't seem very prominent in sunroom builders, as per my Google search. My concerns were soon dispelled after a few conversations with Rick. I found that he was honest and trustworthy. They offered a quote that was 20% lower than the nearest competitor. Within a month they built a quality four-season sunroom. Additionally, he handled some additional expenses to build the concrete footing that was not built properly by my home builder. I recommend Rick and FDR to anyone looking to build a sunroom or install glass windows. They are very responsive and provide value for money.

I used FDR 6 years ago to screen my upper patio deck and to replace patio roof. They did great work! Good price and quality results! Just completed a second job with them rebuilding our patio stairs and building a back yard! Outstanding work again! Would highly recommended them. Michael the owner personally quoted my project and he has impressive people that work for him ! Shout out to the latest team I had, Roberto and Chris! They busted their tails and did high quality work. Their price was very fair and highly competitive! I would use them again, for a third time , and probably will !!

We used FDR to replace several windows due to leaks, split wood, and broken springs. They also replaced some flashing that was causing a leak and finished an area where sheet rock had been removed. Rick estimated the work and designed the solution. Bill implemented the changes. Both were exceptional. We will use FDR again.

From initial visit we felt comfortable w Michael and his knowledge in this area. Factory Direct handled the entire project from HOA approval Permitting to completion to exceed our expectations. Great job well done now enjoying an enclosed area we love.

My best home project experience till date. The performance of every member of the FDR team that I had the opportunity to deal with has been simply par excellence and far beyond my expectations. For years we imagined enjoying the beauty of our backyard, spring through winter. This year, with the help of Factory Direct Remodeling of Atlanta, our dream came true. The process was unbelievably simple. My husband’s research found the best companies in our area and landed on FDR Atlanta. FDR Atlanta’s A rating with the Better Business Bureau was very important. Michael Laudette came out to discuss our vision and walked us through a custom sun room design. Michael’s extensive knowledge about the construction industry in general made us feel very comfortable. Michael assisted us in making the best choices in terms of design and products. Friendly and helpful attitude do not justly describe Michael. He’s genuinely a good human being with a passion for making his client’s project come to life. My husband, a project executive for a software company, believes in a well-executed project plan. Michael’s team did not disappoint. Having a true understanding of our vision, Michael was able to lead his team of professionals in the precise direction. Being able to anticipate problems before they occur is ideal, but not always possible, especially on a construction job. Michael immediately jumped in and assisted his team address any problems once they surfaced. They were able to provide an immediate solution with excellent customer service. There was site prep, removing existing concrete, and pouring a concrete foundation. Next came the framing and electrical. The prefabricated unit arrived with our custom design specifications. We selected a choice of glass for a four-season sun room. In addition to a ceiling fan, I highly recommend upgrading your sun room with a controlled indoor climate unit (heat and air). Our electrician deserves a bonus for this job! We are very pleased with his master level workmanship. The AC unit Michael suggested is impressively quite. By the end of our project, I can truly say that Michael and his team went above and beyond to meet and exceed our expectations. We now spend more time in our sun room than any other room in our house (no TV allowed). As a couple, building our sun room is the second best decision we’ve made together. Thank you FDR Atlanta! Contacted Home Depot about  replacing a screened porch with an existing roof  to a  patio enclosure  and they passed my information on to Factory Direct Remodeling.
Because of problems I encountered with the sales person and the overall transaction,  they provided me with an extended five year warranty.  However, even with the warranty,  the only way to get management's attention to address problems with the installation was to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. and even then it was a hassle to get anything accomplished.  I had to report them a total of three times. It is very sad that some companies choose to behave in such a manner.  I found the quality of the materials and the installation were definitely not worth the high price. There were water leakage issues and the patio screens developed holes. For me, Home Depot has lost credibility since it  uses contractors that exhibit such poor customer service and quality. 

There was a lot of delay and they were unreliable. The workers did not really get along. They had problems with other customers which made them have problems with me. The work took longer than anticipated and it took them long to clean up their mess. I tried to contact them about my issues and they took awhile to get back to me.

They are horrible. They were late continuously. They tried a complete scam. They didn't replace the gutters and they also put old chicken wire screen on top. They just directly laid the old and dirty screens on top of the gutters and wanted to charge me for replacing the gutters and putting I new screens. The siding work is still an ongoing thing. They are supposed to be going back this week to do the siding on the chimney, which they claim to have done. I actually climbed up there on a ladder with the fireplace guys and found that they have put one tiny piece of board up there and painted the front but not the side. They cannot be trusted. They will scam in any possible way and you will lose your money if you decide to go with them. Their price was lower than the other quotes but I would rather pay higher and get it done properly than waste the money. They will call you and say that they will do it but they will not. The contract was handwritten and that should have been my first dead giveaway. It is in the contract that they have to come and stain the deck in two months. I have argued with them on wanting my money back but they refused and insist that they will come and stain the deck. I don't trust that they are going to come and do that because they have given their word so many times on other jobs but it didn't happen. It is just horrible. I had to fight for a refund on the gutters because they actually did nothing to the gutters and just put wire on top. He hadn't itemized anything when the contract was written up. He told me that the cost of the gutters would be $628 but he only gave me a refund of $312 and he refused to accept that he had told me that it would be $628 and I could not prove it because he didn't write it down. The main reason we were doing the siding was for the chimney but he says that they have done other critical spots on the house and that the refund would be a very small amount if I wanted it. I have so many other contractors on the remodeling that I am doing that it is crazy to try and keep up with people that just don't want do right. He had told me that it would cost $500 to stain the deck. I told him to refund that amount and that I would go with another company but he insists that they will come and do the job. He says that he never told me that it would be $500 to stain the deck and refuses to refund anything. I live in a different state and don't even know whether they are going to stain the deck or not. I don't know whether I am going to get a lawyer because that would cost money and I might as well just move on and forget about it.

They did a very good professional job, and I had a good experience with them. It took a long time for them to finish the job, but it was not their fault; getting permits and all that stuff was testy. It is a 10 by 10 screened porch on the second story, so they had to do some shoring up of the bottom. They did a beautiful set of stairs from that. I had other estimates, and their price came in as the cheapest. So far, I believe the quality has been good. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

My experience with Factory Direct Remodeling Inc. Company was excellent. We were just really happy with their work products. We thought it was a fair price. They were a little bit disorganized but I think everybody is. I would totally recommend them. They had several subcontractors. They had a stucco specialist, a builder, a painter and the window installers. They were all excellent. I would use them again in the future.

The workers showed up sporadically, left a mess and left my home open and exposed during cold weather. They put the door (and the deck that went outside it) in the wrong place and had to remove both the door and deck, cutting a support beam in the process. They repeatedly left out screws, broke blinds and other possessions and had to be called back to fix things. In the year after the windows were put in, not one cent was saved in heating costs and the door will not open or shut without continue adjustments. This company issues a guarantee that you will save 40% on your energy costs in the first year, but they have not honored that. In reality, they should refund the full $13,524. Since the entire amount was a waste of money. It is apparent that the windows they told me were not insulated were just as efficient as the ones they sold me. This company has not made any effort to resolve these issues after contacted by the Better Business Bureau and have been insulting to me.

I was very impressed with the person who came out and measured the windows as he was exact with everything. Another person came back to home to give me a quote and I was very shocked because it was a woman. She does excellent work and she was very professional and honest. The quote was right on and they got the job done fast.
