"My glass door was hitting the glass shower wall and needed to be adjusted. Work was done quickly, on time and at a fair price. Normally my zip code results in a price increase which Dreamworks did not do. I will definitely use them again."

"It was excellent. One of the doors looked great. They came in an did the job. They cleaned up after themselves. They stayed in and let me know how much was the estimate. The communication was good. I appreciated them because there was no hidden cost."

"Nick came and evaluated the situation.  Then he left to purchase the materials needed to do the job.  He repaired the front window, the trim on the house facing the deck and caulked so that there would be no further rot.  He did an amazing job.  He is a real artist. There was one place in particular that was very tricky and he pieced together parts to make it match. Being a designer I am very particular.  It was a great experience and I am very pleased with Nick's work.

Glass Block questions, answered by experts

You can still see vaguely into some types of glass block windows at night. Although there won’t be clear definitions, passersby may still see shapes, shadows, and movement through the glass. If you want complete privacy, consider installing diamond glass block windows rather than the typical clear or wavy glass blocks.

Regular cleaning with non-abrasive cleaners helps prevent buildup and maintains clarity.

Their thickness depends on application, but most glass walls are typically 3/8 to 3/4 of an inch thick. Although it’s not as common, single panes of glass can also be 1 inch thick.

New glass costs anywhere from $3 to $100 per square foot. More specifically, tempered and insulated glass—a common option for sliding glass doors—costs between $10 and $14 per square foot.

Heavy glass tends to be more expensive than thin glass because it is stronger and more durable. In most cases, ¼-inch-thick glass is ideal for mirrors, and ⅛-inch-thick glass is ideal for residential windows. Heavier glass isn’t always necessary, and can be more challenging to hang or install. Work with a local window installation pro for replacement or new construction windows.
