We are a family owned business that specializes in concrete driveways, sidewalks, slabs and patios.

"We initially had high hopes when starting our project with Jacobs and Sons Concrete. Mrs. Jacobs was highly responsive and eager to finalize the agreement, even going so far as to personally collect our deposit the day the contract was signed. Sadly, things quickly went downhill after that. Delays were repeatedly attributed to weather and personal issues, which we initially understood. However, communication soon became non-existent, with emails and phone calls going unanswered. When the agreed-upon deadline was missed, Mrs. Jacobs eventually admitted to the delay and assured us that a refund would be mailed. That promise was made in July 2024. It is now February 2025, and despite multiple follow-ups, we have received no refund, only silence. This experience has left us feeling deeply disappointed and misled. Based on our interactions, I cannot recommend Jacobs and Sons Concrete to anyone. A business should be founded on trust and reliability, but this one has proven otherwise."

You can also install drainage over existing concrete by digging out enough space for a channel drain or French drain or by adding a culvert below the slab.

Self-leveling concrete is the best option for your garage floor since it guarantees an even surface in the end. However, most garage floors weren’t made with self-leveling concrete. You don’t need to fully replace the garage floor to use self-leveling concrete. A quarter-to-half-inch of self-leveling concrete on top of your existing floor will be sufficient for a smooth and even finish.

In almost all cases, yes, a damaged concrete driveway can be repaired, and the repair cost will be more affordable than a full replacement. Even major damage, like a sinking section of concrete, can be repaired by a professional using mudjacking or polyurethane concrete lifting and will average about half of the cost of a new driveway.

For thin driveway cracks that aren’t widening or lengthening, a polyurethane crack filler is usually the best way to seal the crack and prevent further damage from water and ice. You may want to hire a concrete floor contractor to check out your home’s concrete surfaces or inspect your home’s foundation for minor damages that they can fix while on site. They may be able to fix cracks in your driveway or garage floor the same day they fix your concrete steps, as well. General concrete repair experts usually won’t be able to handle larger jobs, like leveling a sunken foundation, so you’ll need to hire a structural engineer for bigger projects.
