However, the area near by garages was poorly done and when I had them come back to repair it, not only did it take months to get them to return they did a mediocre job and when I asked them to do a better job at the repair they said that what they did was the best they could do. "Poorly. I taught Atlanta Best Concrete as the same as Best Concrete as that was the only company I found in doing research. Noted: Despite no contract & difference in name, there was no going wrong in my mind for this was through HomeAdvisor/Angi. A rush to frame ensued after delay in removal of wooden structure. Between framing and pouring we exchanged words leading to some misunderstandings. They began backfilling using material I had set aside for my own use as the cement truck was waiting. Once stopped I allowed some material I could do without. In the end it wasn't enough concrete. They had to order more. The slab is not properly leveled. Visible on the side are pockets not filled with cement. Left side of the slab not straight. Front of the slab not flushed with the ground. The shed leans both forward and to the left, plus I must lift the right door in order to lock it."

Since freeze-thaw cycles throughout the winter months can damage your driveway, it's best to winterize your driveway in the late fall before the first freeze hits. Doing so will help to protect your driveway from damage throughout the winter season. Plus, drier, warmer weather makes applying and curing sealant much easier.

Oil can permanently stain a concrete driveway if it fully dries or sits for weeks without cleaning. Concrete is porous and absorbs the oil deeper over time. That’s why it’s best to remove an oil stain when it’s wet by applying an absorbent material, sweeping the area, applying dish soap, scrubbing, and then rinsing.

If you don’t want to seal the entire driveway using a squeegee, you can use a roller instead. Rolling the driveway sealer also provides an even, sufficient coating, although it might require more skills to control the speed and pressure. We don’t recommend spraying the driveway sealer because it would cause more splash, hence wasting more material. If anything, you may spray the sealant and go over the surface again with a squeegee to ensure proper coating.

The three most common types of asphalt are hot asphalt, MC cold mix, and UPM asphalt. Hot asphalt is used most often for paving and patching roadways while it’s hot and workable. MC cold mix asphalt cures more slowly than hot asphalt, but it can be used for temporary patches and repairs in low-traffic areas. UPM is also used cold, but it can be used as a longer-term fix, usable in almost any conditions at almost any temperature.
