"They did a great job cleaning all the tile and stone for the coupon price of $99 and offered to apply a seal for $50 more. My experience with stone and tile sealer is that it enhances the look of the stone and the colors pop but this didn't happen with this sealer so a little disappointed in that as the first time my stone was sealed it really came out beautifully.  I'll probably buy some stone sealer at Home Depot or Lowe's and apply it myself.  I recommend the tile cleaning offered but wouldn't opt to get it sealed again.

"Tony and his team were extremely professional and provided a no pressure sales pitch. They offered us a great prices for the total project, saving us thousands of dollars over other companies that had also given us a quote for the same job. While still an expensive home improvement, the windows installed are of high quality with energy saving glass and built in screens. Once we placed are order the windows were ready to be installed in less than a month.  We can already tell a differences in the temperature of our home (it is staying much cooler even on hot summer days) and really like the quality of the windows. All windows were installed in just two days. The two installers, Chris and Mike, were extremely professional and hardworking. They arrived early and worked late, finishing the job with good craftsmanship and clear attention to detail. They were also very patient with and worked well around my two young boys who were eager to watch them work.  The windows look great and are easy to clean. All the exterior wood trim around the windows were capped in aluminum providing us with extra savings, as we won't have to repaint the windows and their frames again. I can't say enough good things about our experience with this company. It truly was great!

Glaziers questions, answered by experts

Start by attaching the mirror to a wall stud if possible. Next, use appropriate hardware for the mirror's size and the wall material. That could look like drywall anchors, toggle bolts, or self-drilling anchors to ensure a strong hold. Additionally, D-rings or hanging brackets are more secure than a nail. You can also use mirror adhesive to secure small or larger mirrors with a vanity as a base.

Smart glass may still work at night, but it depends on the type of smart glass. Some options, smart tint, are controlled by outdoor heat and light and therefore will turn back to transparent at night. Other types can provide a frosted look for some privacy at night. For example, you can turn PDLC smart glass completely opaque any time, day or night.

The average mirror has a lifespan of 10 to 15 years. After that, the coating begins to deteriorate, losing its reflective properties. Acrylic mirrors have a slightly shorter lifespan of seven to 10 years. Higher-quality acrylic sheets with UV-resistant properties have lifespans similar to those of your average mirror. By maintaining your mirrors and keeping them out of direct sunlight when not in use, you can extend their lifespan. Some mirrors can last for decades.

The easiest way for DIYers to smooth the edges of cut glass is to use sandpaper. Wearing protective gloves, gently sand the sharp edges smooth using low-grit sandpaper and working up to high-grit sandpaper. You can also use a multitool with a rotating sandpaper cylinder to make quicker work of the project.

Generally, large bathroom mirrors that have been secured to the wall with glue require a multistep removal process. By taping the mirror with masking tape or duct tape, you can potentially prevent dangerous shards from falling as you loosen the mirror. A heat gun or other heat source may be needed to loosen up the glue before it can be freed using a wire saw. With glued-down mirrors being the most dangerous to remove, it's wise to hire a professional instead of handling glass on your own.
