"John Prater and team (Joe & Joseph) just completed pressure washing our roof, two-story house with walk-out basement, decks and porches, and two-car carport. We are very pleased with the work and would recommend Prater’s without hesitation; the house looks fantastic and our roof looks new! Additionally the communication from John was great- very unusual in our rural community. John called me in a timely fashion to come out and give an estimate and he arrived on time. After scheduling the work he and the crew showed up exactly when promised. So refreshing! We plan on using Prater’s for all future work and have already recommended to neighbors. "Greg was very informative and had pictures of the products available to replace my old roof. He matched the shingles to a more recent shed that was built which was great. Responds promptly to text and kept me informed through the entire process. The crew working on my roof were very polite, hard working and you’d never know they had been to my house. "These workers are no strangers  to hard work. They performed this job under freezing temperatures and in a confined and dark area of my basement. They went to extra extremes and additional work to keep from tearing up my yard. The clean-up was outstanding. If you have a serious water problem in your basement, this is the company you want. "This was our second project built by Backyard Construction. We had been so pleased with a 10x12' garden shed they built for us in 2012 that we had them build our art studio as well.  Once again, they did an outstanding job. We could not be more pleased with both buildings. Their part of the studio project involved constructing the shell of the structure; my husband and I, our electrician and our painter then finished the interior
We've used Backyard Construction because the quality of their buildings is excellent. After looking at dozens of other companies' offerings it was easy to see that Backyard used better materials and offered a higher level of workmanship yet was still very competitive pricewise. The studio is now one year old and the garden shed is two years old, and neither building has presented any problems whatsoever.
Construction began on time and was completed right on schedule. Their crew was courteous and extremely efficient. Dustin was a pleasure to work with. He was very responsive to our ideas and did an excellent job following up to make sure we were happy with everything. Working with Backyard Construction was a very positive experience for us each time, and we're more than happy to recommend them to others.

"The owner (Victor Smith) and his assistant performed all the cleaning. The cost was $129 but was charged an additional $35 for the tougher spots. Guaranteed Carpet and Tile Cleaning did a fine job. They were efficient and thorough. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

"I purchased a big deal for interior design work.  I submitted photos of room, measurements, and information about the room.  They then requested a drawing on graph paper of the room with "detailed dimensions", and the process just became too difficult.  I would not recommend having interior design work done by someone who cannot come into the home and see the space.  This may work for some people but just did not work for us.  I requested and received a refund for purchase.
